Despite moving slowly, trying not to rustle too much, there is no way Ashley can't feel whats going on.

The action is a simple, wordless, way for Ethan to tell her 'I know what you did'. He underlines the point the same way she did: by dropping it on the floor gently.

After he's done, the two lay in silence, neither moving nor making a sound. Ethan isn't sure how long they both lay there, each second feeling much longer. On top of that, he isn't even sure if the silence will break, and keeps his expectations low.

He's just about to close his eyes when he feels some shuffling.
