Eurovision

Ah yes, Eurovision. Quite possibly one of the best (and definitely the campest) singing competition in the world. Countries from across Europe, as well as a few outside of Europe, competing for the prize of lifting the glass microphone trophy, the opportunity to host the contest in their home country and earning the title of the best singer in Europe for a year. Eurovision has been going since the 1950s, and has grown and grown each year.

Now, you would think that with Eurovision being the high-quality production that it is, there would be no chance of anything ever going wrong. And for the most part, you’d be right. However, in this universe, there’s one thing that can never be guaranteed to go right; the costumes the entires wear. Wardrobe malfunctions have been a constant issue at Eurovision over the years, going back as far as the early years of the competition. Loose dresses snagging on stage props, tight-fitting costumes tearing during dance routines and even the occasional incident of costumes being stolen, it’s all happened on those famous European stages.

Now, in the words of the EBU, we’re good to go!
