"Don't have it princess" A short beard dwarf nervously informed Allisa. His eyes roaming all over Allisa's body.

Bewildered "I was told on good authority that my staff was left your 'capable' hands" Allisa emphasised.

Looking a bit embarrassed, the dwarf avoided looking at her eyes "It was... Not that long ago a young boy came, claiming that he has been sent to retrieve your staff and one of my apprentices handed it over without official confirmation" He reluctantly admitted.

"What!? You blasted dwarf!" Allisa attempted to grab the dwarf by his shirt, but missed as the dwarven blacksmith narrowly avoided the furious elf.

"Look. As an apology, you can take whatever takes your fancy from the forge" The dwarf attempted to placate the raging Allisa.

"What did the thief look like?" Allisa demanded, looking ready to jump the counter between her and the dwarf blacksmith.

"I don't know. Just that he was a young scruffy human! Please don't hurt me" The merchant begged.
