Date With Martha

As usual, Matthew was waiting for his date to arrive. Besides Chen, Martha was the one he knew the least about. They haven't known each other for long, and he never did any digging on her. He only does that to people he doesn't like. When there was a knock on the door, he opened it and smiled.

"You seem to be very comfortable in that body" said Matthew, making her smile too.

"I've always wanted to be bigger, so this is nice. I wish the circumstances were better, but I won't complain" she said as she sat down. Matthew had set up a nice dinner for the two.

"Wow, looks like you went all out with the romance" she said.

"I don't know you very well, so I thought we'd change that" he said with a smile. The two sat and ate. While they ate, they talked. It was nothing particularly important or interesting, but pleasant conversation.

"If you were single, I'd probably ask you out outside of the show" she said as she sipped her wine. Matthew was drinking milk of all things.

"I'm not exactly someone many people like to be around" he said, but this earned him a glare.

"Matthew, you're an incredible man. Many women would love to be with you" she said, making him sigh.

"Maybe at first, but I have a lot of skeletons in my closet" he warned. But she just smiled.

"I may not know everything that happened to you, but I don't believe that it defines you" she said, making him smile.

"By the way, I did some snooping, and learned something. Violet has events planned. And the first one is tomorrow. I already passed this information around" he said. This seemed to worry Martha.

"What kind of event?" she asked.

"Not sure. But losing can result in a punishment. Be ready for anything" he said, making her nod.

During the night, they slept with Matthew's head laying on her chest.
