You press the trigger

To not risk it you think of a small change. You think about the hot curly stereotype, which should give your wife just curly hair since she was already hot, and shoot. A ray of blinding light comes out of the gun and hits Corey, forcing you to close your eyes. When you open them again you see in front of you your wife, now sporting curly hair and a skimpy flowery dress.

You smile, both from how good she looks and for the fact the gun had worked. Then drop it as she tells you with a raised eyebrow while checking herself out "So? Did it work? I don't feel any different".

What? You frown, then remember that even your coworker hadn't noticed when you'd transformed her. So, maybe only the gun holder knew what the gun did? Or maybe there was a setting you needed to toggle? You checked on the gun sides and, sure enough, on the left side there was a switch with the words "Aware" and "Unaware" and it was on the latter. You switched it to aware and shot her again.

Another blinding light assaulted you but, contrary to what had happened earlier, when it subsided Corey looked the same. Only, now she had a shocked expression. She looked down at herself, then run in the bathroom to check herself in the mirror, then run back with wide open eyes and said in a low voice "It worked. It really worked...".

You spent the next few minutes talking about all the things you could do with the gun, then you find the undo button, press it and shoot her again. She was consumed by light again and when it subsided she was back to her original aspect.

Now knowing how the gun worked worked well enough, you spent the next few minutes discussing how you should it. Until an idea came to you...
