Walter was growing tired of Mira's continued guilt over what happened to Douglas. He half entertained taking her back to Thailand. Perhaps he would, one day. But for now, he thought his fate still belonged in America. So he bought a small trailer, in the middle of nowhere, an hour outside of Phoenix. There, he'd make a conflicted Mira into an absolute slavewife for him. Perhaps her sister too.
