A step too far?

"How would you feel about this?"

The man held up a glossy rubber hood.

"It's not for everyone, but ..." He waved his hand to and fro slightly, making the rubber gleam in the dim lighting.

As Alex hesitated, he shrugged and went to put the hood away.

"Wait..." The man paused and looked at Alex enquiringly.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it."

"Good lad." The man unlocked Alex's collar and then pulled the hood down over his head. It took a while for him to line up the noseholes, but soon Alex could feel tight rubber against his face. The hood then tightened as the man pulled a zip down the back. He then replaced the collar and padlocked it shut again.

"Doesn't that feel better?"
