Gon, an ambitious and stealthy level 1 [Goblin] in the [Scorched savanna]

A goblin could be seen stalking a small group of Ashmane, if he was correct in his observations, they were around level 3 to 5.

With the exception of a single level 1 juvenile, which was his target.

He felt the wind with his finger; still. It was unlikely that they would catch his scent, nor was it likely that his shot would stray.

Having gone completely unnoticed despite the blatant difference in look between the grey and yellow grass and his green skin, he raised his somewhat low quality bow and pulled back the already prepared arrow and waited silently.

The moment the juvenile turned its head to the side, showing its eye to the stalking goblin, he released his shot.

At it kept true.

This is why one always had to hit weak spots like the eye or the brain behind it, it gave a massive damage bonus. Usually it would've been something like 11 or 12-ish damage, but it had multiplied by over ten just because he was patient.

It was different from a [Critical], which was mostly luck based, derived from his fortune stat. But if both combined, a truly amazing amount of damage could be dealt.

He silently waited for the remaining ashmane to panic and run away like the [Primal] herbivores they were, after which he carefully approached and started to skin it before any actual threats attracted by the blood.

That was pretty good, he'd rather increase his archery or stealth even more, but it wasn't a decrease.

It'd been two days since he left his tribe to search for greener pastures and a place where he wouldn't be oppressed by the hob-goblin population, where he could level up freely and not need to wait multiple years to barely be allowed to reach level 10.

He wanted to stand at the tipy top of the world, level 100 in both race and class.

But before he started to level properly, he needed to maintain his level 1 status and train his skill to as high as he could get them to kill a high-level beast.

Why? While he wanted to get a level 100 class under his belt, he definitely didn't want a bad class either. And all the class conditions related to killing higher level monsters were all about killing monsters twice your level or maybe even thrice it.

A level 1 killing a level 2 was way probable than a level 2 killing a level 4, and this scaled perfectly at all levels.

The nice thing about a weakling fighting someone twice as strong as them, was that the difference wasn't that big, and could be reasonably closed with mastery over one's craft.

And he... He had a good few high level skills.

He had already gotten enough for four individual classes, and all were bad: 'Hunter', 'Assassin', 'Navigator' and 'Trapper'.

They might be 'Good enough' for the common goblin, but he needed something better then just 'Mediocre' if he wanted to be the best of the best.

Luckily, he had time to train his skills and search for a suitable target for his ascension to an actually good class.
