Melinir Removes Samia's Tattoo

“Are you scared that I might see your tattoo?”

Samia gasped, wondering how he knew about it. Had he seen in during their sex? “I- yes, I suppose.”

“I haven’t seen it, yet. But I can sense it is there. An elf can sense elven tattoos.”

“It’s not what it seems. I’m not just some whore.”

“I know.” He pulled her close and kissed her lips. “I can remove it, if you wish. Any elf will still be able to sense that it was there, but it won’t be visible to humans any more.”

“You can do that?”

Melinir nodded and smiled at her. “Lie on your chest, and I’ll remove it for you.”

Samia didn’t need to be asked twice, she laid on her chest, and Melinir massaged her back and shoulders. After a moment, he got to work on the tattoo on the small of her back. It felt uncomfortably warm for a moment.

“All done,” he said.

Samia sat up, then kissed him deeply. “Thank you.”

They cuddled up, his skin feeling so soft, his arms wrapped around her. His breaths were soft, his scent fresh.

“When you leave here, you’re headed to Octoton?” he asked.

“Yes.”

“Alas, I am going the opposite direction. Tomorrow, we must go our separate ways. But I’ll never forget this moment.”
