Tanya looked a question at Bob.

Bob nodded. He put away his phone into a pocket of his motorcycle vest, tucking the phone's lanyard in.

"Lindsay's a few miles up the road, top of the ridge, waiting for a tow. Can't say no. You got somewhere else you gotta be, Tanya?" He looked a challenge at the wannabe Traveler.

"Today's a ride, this is a ride," she said.

Bob said, "Ready? Let's roll."

Tanya was in plain gear except for her fancy sunglasses. Bob wasn't sure she'd work out for the Travelers, but never no mind. Just like the parable, there was no glory in it. It was just what it meant to be a good neighbor. If it meant that you had to change your plans and skip a quickie on your return loop because you had to go be a good neighbor, that was just the way it was for a Traveler. Tanya could find another club if she thought different.

Even if sometimes being a good neighbor did mean having a quickie you didn't expect. For a stern-faced lady cop you expected to be on a highway patrol recruiting poster titled RESPECT, Master Patrolman Dana Polk was one heck of a hot alley fuck. But that's what she needed after a tough shift that finished up in Urgent Care with road rash and a head injury check. And then she'd stayed over. "Just so you can keep an eye on me," she'd said. She'd had one more ride on the one-eyed snake by the dark of night, her climax intense but practically silent. Dana Polk was practically already a Samarian Traveler.

Tanya? Tanya would stick it out, or she wouldn't.
