Basketball practice

There were some underage students on the basketball team. It had to be safe there, right?

Penny arrived late to practice, but not very badly. The other girls had covered for her and the coach wasn't angry.

The practice itself was a good distraction. Penny and Tamira struggled more than usual, but nobody questioned why they seemed sore today. They weren't that bad.

Emma was still offline. It was hard to predict when things would go wrong.

Tammy and Rhonda invited the other girls to go out for fast food, but most of them declined because of other plans.

Penny could choose to rush home, but she wasn't sure there was any comfort in that. Sure, the Sex Ed class got out of hand, but there might be more safety in staying with friends.
