Wednesday

Lukas sat down at a table in the library pulling out some physics homework he got stuck with. He sat there alone for the majority of the study period before he felt someone tap his shoulder.

"Hey, this seat taken?" asked a voice.

Lukas turned around and saw it was Julia. She was holding a couple of books and some papers, she was smiling at him, her teeth looked perfect. He nodded and she walked around him to sit in the seat opposite him.

He had forgotten that they shared a few free periods and that she was often studying. He watched as she set her things on the desk and pulled out her books.

"What are you working on?” She asked him.

"Some physics homework, we are studying the movement of particles," he answered.

"That sounds cool," she said smiling.

"It's actually not," he laughed. “What about you?”

"Some biology and modern history.” She shrugged.

He smiled and nodded. She returned the nod and opened her book. They both began to read and do their work. Lukas would look up and sneak a glance at Julia now and again. Her hair was tucked behind her ears and she looked beautiful. Her eyes focused on the paper in front of her and her handwriting was immaculate.

The two continued to work quietly, with the occasional conversation popping up here and there. Eventually they finished their work and packed their things up.

Eventually Lukas checked his phone and saw that there was ten minutes left in the free period. He sighed and put his phone away. Suddenly he felt a foot nudge his leg, he looked up and saw Julia staring at him.

"Same time tomorrow?” She asked.

"You want to do this again?" he asked, confused.

"Yeah, why not. It's better than sitting in the library alone," she said.

"Sure, see you tomorrow."
