Chapter 307

Exarch-of-Sechrima
Just what we wanted to see, Dakota having power over people and being petty with it
You wanna be friends forever? I can think of something better
Sylvia showed up at Morgana’s door clinging onto a stuffed plushy of Mimi about the size of her head. She hugged it to her chest while holding figures of Mimi and Marley in her hands, and looking at Morgana with a hopeful yet innocent expression on her face, like an excited child getting ready for a sleepover.
“Oh, hey,” Morgana greeted her at the doorway with an awkward smile. “Want to come inside?”
“Yeah, thanks,” Sylvia said, nodding. She followed Morgana into her room, and looked around for somewhere she could set down herself. All the while, Morgana was watching her curiously, and wondering about some things herself. Finally, Sylvia decided to put the figures down on the night stand, since Dawn wouldn’t be here to set her glasses on it.
“So, uh… why did you bring those with you?” She asked.
Sylvia flinched, and looked surprised for a second. “Well-”
Already sensing trouble, Morgana instantly switched to panic mode. “I didn’t mean that in a bad way!” She quickly exclaimed. “Like, it’s not like I have a problem with your figurines or anything like that, I have a bunch of anime figurines back home! I wasn’t try to be rude or pick on you, I was just really curious why you would bring them, that’s all!”
She shifted to a hopeful, shaky smile, trying to show Sylvia that there was no need for hard feelings or anything like that.
Sylvia looked strangely at her, but then she smiled, too.
“It’s not a big deal,” she said, shaking her head. “See, uh… I don’t have a room yet, remember? So, it’s not like there’s anywhere I can display them, so…”
“Oh!” Morgana gasped. “That’s right, I totally forgot! The Auditionees don’t get their own rooms!” That was an issued she’d dealt with too, last round. How did she handle that problem?
Morgana scrunched up her face. “But wait… you could just leave them in the Master’s Suite with Nick, right? You don’t have to take it with you everywhere you go.”
Sylvia’s expression immediately soured. “You think I would leave my precious Mimi in there!?” She exclaimed. “Daddy has women coming into his room every night! Who knows what they would do?! They’d probably steal Mimi right out from under my nose, those greedy witches! Because she’s just so adorable!”
She cuddled the plushy tightly to her chest in a defensive measure.
Morgana didn’t really know what to say to that, so she did what she always did when she didn’t know what to say to something, she fell silent and just stared.
“…Okay…” She mumbled.
“Great!” Sylvia brightened up immediately. She flopped down onto the bed, still hugging the plushy, and looked up at Morgana. “So what do you want to do now?” She asked the goth girl. “You said something about watching anime, right?”
“OH! Oh, yeah, yeah!” Morgana nodded rapidly. “It’s a really good one, too, it’s called-”
Sylvia cut her off there. “Wait, Morgana, I’m gonna stop you. I don’t want to watch it.”
“…You don’t?” Morgana’s face fell. “But… you don’t even know what it’s called!”
Sylvia shook her head. “Not the point. I thought about it, and I realized that I don’t want you to show me anime that YOU like. I want to find an anime that I like, that neither one of us have ever seen before. That way we can both watch it for the first time, and enjoy it together. Or hate it together! That sounds more fun to me, then you showing me something that I might not like, and then me having to spend the whole night pretending it’s good.”
Morgana made a kind of sulky face. “You don’t like anime about demon high schoolers with lots of boobs flying all over the place?”
“I mean, maybe I would like it?” Sylvia replied with a shrug. “That’s not really the point though. The point is that I want the chance for both of us to discover something! Doesn’t that sound like more fun? Because… well, if I’m being honest… I’ve already seen the series you’re talking about.”
Morgana looked shocked. “Wait, what?”
“You watched it with Carly and Dani, right?” Sylvia reminded her. “I was watching over you guys back then. You watched a lot of series with them, didn’t you? And with Nick, too.”
“Uh… well, yeah,” Morgana admitted, blushing.
“So there you go!” Sylvia put her hands on her hips and stood up from the bed. “Daddy says I need to have more respect for myself, so I don’t want to watch the same shows as everyone else! I want to do something special, just for the two of us!”
When Sylvia put it that way, Morgana could actually see the merit in what she was saying. In fact… it actually made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
“R-really?” She asked. “You want to have something special… with me?”
“I mean, I did kind of rope you into this whole thing, with my talk about demons and whatnot,” Sylvia pointed out. She cringed a little. “And you’ve been having a bit of a tough time with it, bonding with the others too, right?”
Morgana nodded glumly. “I-I’m getting better, though,” she assured the other girl. “I’m starting to really make some connections! And I was so amazed that everyone was willing to forgive me after what happened with the mirrors…”
Sylvia nodded. “Yeah, that one was pretty rough,” she admitted. “But it’s okay! I’m not the kind of person to hold a grudge! Unless it’s against someone who ruined my show. But then, I don’t have a show anymore…”
She looked sad for a moment, and Morgana didn’t really know what to say to that. She just quietly stared at Sylvia and tried to pretend that she hadn’t said anything at all.
“So, uh… about this show…” Morgana stammered, glancing at the TV in a **** need to change the subject. While she felt bad for Sylvia after what Dakota did to her, talking about when Sylvia ran things didn’t exactly sound like a great way to have fun.
Sylvia waved her hand. “Yeah, we’ll get to that,” she assured the goth girl. “But we’ve got bigger things to deal with right now.”
“O-oh,” Morgana said, biting her lip. “Bigger things like… what?”
Sylvia just smiled a coy smile and leaned in close.
“I noticed you have 49 points now,” she noted, pointing at the goth girl’s hand.
Morgana quickly covered it up with her other hand and blushed. “Okay, um, so what?” She stammered, averting her eyes.
“You didn’t have that many points before we started going on the Ferris Wheel, right? I’m no Dawn but I’ve got quite a memory for things like this, when my show is involved,” Sylvia pointed out, tapping her own hand. Her number still read “28”. Not a big change from the start of the round, sadly, thanks to Nick’s aversion for doing things with her.
“S-so what?” Morgana said again, shifting awkwardly on the bed. She wanted to shrivel up and die of embarrassment.
“So what? You did it, didn’t you?” Sylvia gushed, practically throwing herself onto the bed beside Morgana. “You totally kissed Daddy on the Ferris Wheel! I just know it! You already hugged him, and there’s not a whole lot of other things you can do on a Ferris Wheel that only give you 1 VP, in case you didn’t know!”
Morgana’s face turned scarlet with shame. “I, ummm…”
“I’m so happy for you, Morgana!” Sylvia gushed, taking the goth girl’s hands in hers. Her plushy lay forgotten on the bed. Morgana stared at her in muted shock.
“You, uh… you are?” She stammered, not sure she’d heard that properly.
“Of course I am!” Sylvia said. “After all, you were talking so much about how you wanted your first kiss to be on the Ferris Wheel… and you actually got it! That’s amazing! I’m so jealous of you… I wish I could have a magical first kiss like that…”
She sighed wistfully and stared off into the distance, her eyes glazing over. She was imagining a perfect first kiss shared with her “Daddy”.
Which should have been an embarrassing thought, honestly, but Sylvia was too distracted to really think about things that way.
In the meantime, though, she was happy to talk about Morgana’s kiss with the goth girl. She wanted all the details!
“D-details?” Morgana stammered. She’d calmed down a little now that she knew Sylvia was just excited about the kiss, but that didn’t mean she had any details to share. “It… there aren’t really any details,” she mumbled.
“Oh, come on, I’m sure there are!” Sylvia pressed. “You kissed him, after all! And that’s not nothing! So come on, you can share with me! Aren’t we friends?”
Morgana’s eyes widened. “Friends? Oh… I mean… I guess so, huh?”
She wasn’t sure that she’d heard that right. Sylvia… she actually used the “f” word! And not the f word that made Morgana turn red, either, the real one!
“You… you really mean that?” She asked again, just to be sure. She felt her voice ache with hope. “You’re telling the truth? You really… you really think we’re friends?”
Sylvia blinked. “Well, I mean… that’s… that’s a little too much, I guess…”
“Oh…” Morgana looked down, crestfallen. She really had hoped…
“I mean, I get it, you wouldn’t want to be friends with me, right?” Sylvia stammered, quickly going into a long stream of conscious thought and trying to backpedal what she’d said before. “I’m the former host, after all, and I’ve done a lot of twisted things, plus I’m trying to put the moves on my own Daddy, and then there’s my difficulty in connecting to people, you can probably do so much better than me, sorry to get so presumptuous about it…”
Morgana’s eyes bulged. “N-no!” She exclaimed, shaking her head quickly. “It’s not like that at all! I actually… um, that is to say… I mean…”
She bit her lip, not sure where she was going with this. Sylvia looked curiously at her, her eyes filled with more than a small amount of hope.
Morgana took a deep breath, and then exhaled.
“I-I think,” she stammered, “that you and I… that I… I think I want to be friends with you, Sylvia.”
Sylvia blinked, trying to process that. Unfortunately when she was trying to process something, she responded by snarking. “Well, as long as you’re sure, then,” she said with a sarcastic drip in her voice that stunned Morgana momentarily.
“I-I am sure!” Morgana said, getting more serious. “I don’t have very many friends, but I always want more… I-I want to make friends, because… because I’m so lonely…”
Sylvia nodded and tried not to tear up. “Yeah,” she murmured. “I know exactly how you feel. Lonely… it’s the same for me.”
The two girls stared at each other as they processed everything they’d said. Finally, it was Sylvia who redirected the conversation.
“So, tell me about this kiss!” She begged, rubbing her thighs together. “How was it? Was it sexy? Did you have fun?”
Morgana blushed. “It-it wasn’t a sexy kiss!” She replied.
Sylvia seemed disappointed. She’d gotten really worked up now, thanks to all their talking about the kiss, and now she was finding out it wasn’t something sexy?
That was no fun.
“Well, um…” Morgana bit her lip. “It’s just… it was a sweet kiss. Nick… I told him that it was my dream, to have my first kiss on the Ferris Wheel, and so… he let me kiss him. He was being nice, because he could see how badly I wanted that…”
“Ah…” Sylvia sighed wistfully. “That’s my Daddy, alright. He’s the kind of guy who always wants to give the girls what they want…”
Sadly, that didn’t apply to her. Not yet, anyway. The things Sylvia wanted, well…
Who’s to say if Nick would ever be comfortable with them?
“Oh, if Daddy would do what I wanted…” Sylvia breathed, her eyes glazing over as she pictured that. Nick carrying Sylvia on his shoulders, Nick and Sylvia dancing together at the Daddy-Daughter Dance, Nick walking Sylvia down the aisle… to marry Nick…
…
She realized her brain had gone down a very strange tangent and she snapped out of it to see Morgana staring suspiciously at her.
“…Whoops. Got a little caught-up in myself,” Sylvia laughed, scratching her head sheepishly. “Sorry about that.”
But Morgana wasn’t laughing. She actually looked concerned and worried.
“Sylvia…”
“Hmm?” Sylvia looked warily at her, and tried not to let on her own concerns. “Y-yeah?” She asked quickly. “What is it?”
Morgana bit her lip. “Are… are you sure… are you feeling okay?”
“Of course I am!” Sylvia replied, not sure what she was asking. “Why do you think I wouldn’t be feeling okay?”
Morgana pointed at Sylvia’s thighs. She looked down, and her eyes widened. She had her hand clamped between her legs, and her fingers were curled up to dig into her panties.
Sylvia yanked her hand away like the delta between her legs was a pit of acid. “Whoa! I, uh… sorry!” She exclaimed, turning red. “I don’t know what I was doing! But whenever certain thoughts enter my head, I always… it wasn’t on purpose! Really, it wasn’t!”
“I know,” Morgana said, shaking her head quickly. She kept her mouth shut tight, and pointed at her throat, goading Sylvia with a nod to try and remember the transformation that she was stuck with.
It took Sylvia a minute, but she remembered. Her eyes opened wide in surprise.
“Oh! That… I totally forgot!” She gasped, her face flushing. She quickly averted her eyes. “Okay, um… sorry,” she apologized, shaking her head. “I got lost there, I totally forgot about your Sotto Voce transformation… and we were having such a nice time, too…”
Morgana sighed. It was mostly her fault. After all, she’d been so engaged in the conversation with Sylvia that she didn’t even realize that she was turning the other girl on with her words, when really, that was her responsibility to take care of. After all, it was her transformation that had gotten the blonde all horned up, wasn’t it?
“It’s fine,” Sylvia kept saying, seeing how Morgana was starting to shut down. “Really, I don’t mind! It’s just one of those things, you know? Transformations aren’t a big deal, at least not to me! And neither is getting turned on!”
Morgana looked at her, surprised. “R-really?”
“Duh,” Sylvia said, rolling her eyes. “I used to be the host of Harem Hotel, remember? Things like getting turned on by a magic voice, well, that’s just normal! I don’t mind in the slightest! And honestly, Morgana, I don’t think many other people will care, either.”
Morgana didn’t believe that for a second. She remembered how several members of the harem had acted when they became aware that she was making them horny. And she didn’t want to deal with that stress again.
She shook her head adamantly. “It’s easier if I keep my voice down,” she whispered, trying desperately to alter her voice from her normal speaking voice so Sylvia wouldn’t be bothered by it. “That way, I can… well… it’s not important.”
Whatever Morgana wanted to say, it was better for everyone if she just kept her mouth shut. It’s not like they needed to know, after all.
Sylvia looked uncomfortable with this, though. “Morgana, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being horny!” She asserted. “Just look at Mary, my girl! She’s got that transformation that makes her hornier and hornier with each transformation she gets, and she still manages to do just fine on her own!”
Of course, Sylvia didn’t mention anything to Morgana about the massive one-woman fuckfest Mary had provided to Nick the night before. Some secrets were better kept secret. And it didn’t help her overall argument.
Besides, no one cared about Mary having sexy sex. That was the whole point of the sheltered farmgirl coming out of her shell!
Right now, though, it was clear Morgana needed to come out of her shell herself. If Sylvia was in her old position, she would have goaded Morgana with the notion of eliminations or transformations, or played on her insecurities and desires.
She didn’t think that was the right thing to do in the present situation though. She had to consider things carefully instead.
“How about this?” She suggested, tapping her chin. “Maybe it would be better if you looked at your transformation from the perspective of you’re making everybody happier?”
Morgana blinked. “Happier?”
“Yeah,” Sylvia nodded. “It’s not like you’re giving people nightmares that they didn’t ask for with your diary or anything. You’re just giving them some pleasant feelings whenever you guys talk. I’m sure that’s one of the reasons everyone really likes you now! You’re making them happy!”
Morgana wished it was that easy. But honestly… seeing how passionate Sylvia was about all this… it was honestly making a pretty compelling argument.
She couldn’t help but smile a little.
Sylvia grinned. “There it is! There’s the smile I was looking for! Now come on, let’s talk! I wonder just how worked up you can get me!”
Morgana’s smile quickly faded and she shook her head. “On second thought… I… I don’t think that’s such a good idea,” she replied.
Sylvia blinked, taken aback by that. “Really?” She asked curiously. “Why not?”
“Well…” Morgana averted her eyes sheepishly. “If we get really horny from my voice, well… I might end up writing something down in my diary that we both regret. I did that when Dani was staying with me, and, well…”
Sylvia nodded. Morgana was making a whole lot of sense here.
“Good thinking,” she agreed. “In that case, let’s focus on giving someone some very good dreams!”
Morgana’s eyes widened in surprise. She stared warily at Sylvia. “Um… I’m not sure about…”
“Not sure about what?” Sylvia pressed.
The goth girl quickly shook her head. “N-no, nothing, never mind,” she stammered. “I just… I’m used to the person I’m sleeping with getting the dreams, so…”
“Ah, I gotcha. You were wondering if I would be willing to be the subject of your fantasies tonight, my girl?” Sylvia asked coyly.
Morgana blushed. She wouldn’t put it like THAT, but… she nodded.
“Hm… it’s tempting,” Sylvia admitted, tapping her chin. “But you know what? I think there’s someone who deserves it a lot more than me.”
She leaned in and whispered into Morgana’s ear. Morgana’s eyes widened, and then a shaky smile spread across her lips.
“Oh, yeah,” she nodded in agreement. “That would be just perfect!”
Sylvia and Morgana shared a conspiratorial smile.
“Great!” Sylvia clapped her hands together. “While you’re doing that, I’m going to pick out a series for us to watch!”
Aww! What a cute night!
