Going nuts at the nut house!

“PARTY TIME!” Laughed the Blue Goblin, tossing a handful of jack-o-lantern styled grenades onto the front gate structure of the Ravencroft mental hospital, giving the property a fly by, laughing all the while. The roof and front entrance exploding with a shower of stone and metal as she flew by for another pass. “Time to go nutty in the nuthouse!”

Looking down at her handywork, the grey skinned goblin woman smiled a toothy grin at the sight of dozens of mental patients fleeing from the facility, their attempts thwarted by the guards trying to still contain them. “Nuh uh uh… No party poopers.” She declared, grabbing another handful of grenades, and tossing them towards the guard towers and fenced gate of the parking lot. The glider riding mad woman kept the security forces from preventing the patients from escaping, she wanted as many scattered throughout the city as possible with no way to send them back.

Laughing, she could see them flee from the explosions she caused, completely outmatched by her firepower while she flew overhead. Hovering over the flaming property as she watched every dangerous mental patient escape into the city at large.

“Go out and have fun you kids, and remember, the blue goblin sent ya!”

“THIS IS SHIELD, YOU WILL SURRENDER YOURSELF OR ELSE WE WILL USE DEADLY ****.” Called out a speaker from the jet, its weapons primed and ready as both vessels aimed at the goblin’s head.

Looking up when her pointed ear caught the sound of a jet engine, the Blue Goblin’s smile nearly split her face in half. There hovering just meters away from her were a pair of SHIELD hover jets, aiming weapons at the goblin hovering in place. Raising her hands over her head, the Goblin mockingly pretended to surrender herself, slowly teetering the glider over until she was hovering upside down, leaving the woman giggling back at the SHIELD agents inside, the pilots visibly angered despite their breather masks obscuring their eyes and face. So much so the pilot repeated himself with a harsher tone.

“I SAID LAND YOUR DAMNED VESSEL AND LOWER YOURSELF TO THE GROUND WITH YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR…”

Both SHIELD hover jets were caught off guard by an arc of electricity that coursed through the two flying machines, electrifying the equipment, and shutting off the engines in a shower of sparks. The crew onboard panicking as they fell like rocks to the streets below.

The first crashed overtop a car, the collision causing it to tumble to a grinding halt in front of the Ravencroft hospital’s gates while the other skipped like a stone until it rolled over, losing one of its wings as it crashed and slammed into the building nose first. The bolt of lightning danced between streetlamps until it shot out towards the Blue Goblin, stopping feet from the smiling creature and taking on the form of a humanoid shape, revealing Electro sneering down at the two SHIELD crews climbing out of the wreckage of their crashes.

“You know what I love about your little temper tantrums?” Stated the Blue Goblin to her cohort. “You have no chill at all. You go straight to 11 on the dial and stay there.”

“Your wasting time, the job was to cause as much chaos as possible and you’re just sitting here like a damned spectator.”

Shrugging, the blue clad woman smirked. “I love my work, can’t help it if I like to take a step back and listen to the screams.”

Waving her hand out, it looked like Electro would attack the other women, instead an electromagnetic field surrounded the two, just in time to stop stray bullets in their tracks before they could hit either woman. Looking down, the pair found the SHIELD agents had survived their crashes and were trying to stop the two the best they could, firing up at the two women overhead. The bullets stopped, suspended in the electric field Electro kept up, her anger only intensifying as she glared down at the men and women down before firing at her.

“You know what? You’re right. How about you go off to the city center and I finish up here.”

“Remember the next step of our leader’s plans Goblin.”

“Yeah, yeah, I’ll meet you there once my fun here is done.”

Watching electro leave in a burst of ozone and electricity arcing into a streetlamp, the Goblin darted from her spot in the air, flying into a U-turn and diving towards the SHIELD agents. Reaching into the satchel hanging over her hip and throwing a cluster of small jack-o-lanterns at the men and women below. With a burst of blue smoke, the grenades split apart into serrated twirling blades. Raising their arms to guard themselves, the blades were so sharp they dug deep into the SHIELD agent’s body armor. Immediately the agents dropped their weapons, panic coursing through them as they each fell to the ground clutching at their helmets or scratching at their clothes after pulling off the blades stuck in their body armor.

One of them pulled their helmet off, screaming as he scratched at his clothing, his eyes dilated as he looked around startled and confused. Everything looked twisted and unfamiliar, his center of gravity off as he barely had the ability to sit up straight let alone stand. Every inch of his skin itched like crazy, and his heart was pounding in his chest like he was having a panic attack.

Looking up to where he could hear laughing, his mind’s eye could only make out a terrifying demon creature riding a metal bat. The female creature wearing a blue tunic and cap over her head as she descended low enough for him to see her reptilian yellow eyes and fanged smile.

“Like my goblin venom sunshine? It’s my personal batch of neurotoxins, hallucinogens and lots and LOTS of LSD.” She grinned, the poisons running through the agent’s body making her look like some terrifying acid trip. The sight of which had him fall onto his back screaming. “Pfffff, get over it lightweight, I take two of those before I start breakfast.”
