While his phone vibrated Lukas quickly shot up in bed, trying to make his room neater before he answered her call.

"Hey." He answered nervously.

"Heyyy thank you so much" her soft voice greeted him.

He shuffled nervously as she propped her phone on her desk. She was wearing a loose purple shirt that hung on her shoulders with her hair tied up.

"Uh... So what did you want me to explain."

She laughed nervously as she poked her pen into her cheek. “A lot, I’m not really keeping up.”

He smiled back at her. He could tell she was embarrassed but he didn't mind helping her.

"Don't worry about it." He said softly. "I can walk you through it if you want."

And that was how he began tutoring Brittany. Over the next hour or two he slowly walked her through each question and made sure she understood them all before letting her finish her homework. He also helped her with English and history.

Now that they were done they were just talking about random stuff like their hobbies and pets. Soon Lukas’s brother came it asking for help with a game level. “I’m gonna help my brother I won’t be long.“

Brittany smiled back as he went to help his brother. Lukas sat with his brother on the couch playing the game, trying to get his brother to pass a difficult section. When he was done Lukas headed back upstairs, smiling at his brother as he left.
