Getting down to business

After everyone settles at the table with their plates piled high with the rich breakfast spread from the hotel buffet, Adam turns to them with a serious look in his eyes.

“It’s time to discuss strategy. I heard you all encountered Balzac on your journey to Malamute.” Upon seeing their nods, he continues. “I’ve done some research while on my own and this is what I’ve found out.”

Adam explains that Balzac’s home is a cave far up on Mount Malamute, a craggy mountain plagued by mighty blizzards. “In order to get through the icy storms, we need to obtain a Fire Gem. Unfortunately, it’s a really rare item. The only place I could find that has it is the local casino here in the city; Casino Canaan.”

“So how can we get it?” Eris asks.

“Either we can try and sneak into the casino and steal it, or we need to win at gambling to get it as a prize.” Adam lists out the options. “Regardless of what we choose, I think we should pay a visit to the casino first.
