Aurora

Aurora’s black dress whispered over the floor as she turned the corner at top walking speed, going straight for the gleaming red eyes looking out of the dark depths of the shop. Taking Victoria by the throat and slamming her against the back wall, the other woman sinking two inches into the steel. Aurora leaned in close, holding the smaller woman up two feet off the ground without noticeable strain.

“What the fuck were you thinking! Giving Josephine access to that tier of items before the second challenge. That’s a late game item Victoria!” Aurora hissed out a breath between her teeth, stepping back and letting the shorter woman drop to the ground, looking none the worse for wear from her impact.

Victoria shrugged and brushed some dust dislodged from the impact off the finely cut frock cost she’d worn that day. “The girl was ****…and was willing to give me…some…of what I wanted. So I made a deal, I got to break in a fresh virgin ass whilst I was at it as well..” Victoria tittered, ignoring Aurora as she straightened some items on the shelves.

Aurora breathed through her nose, trying to present herself as calm and in control. “I’m going to make you regret this Victoria.” She turned and stalked away, the lights shutting off again and leaving nought but the pair of glowing eyes in the darkness and a whisper on the air.

“Or maybe you will regret this…monster.”

Delilah

Delilah had pushed all the chairs out of the way as she used a wooden practise sword she’d been given to train with in her free time. The open space being used as she practised combining her footwork with the series of thrusts and strikes that she could use to defend herself if she went exploring in more encounter rooms. Delilah was already planning to use the BP she’d gotten from the chest in the mirror room to try one of the other higher cost doors, although she’d have to get herself some equipment. Maybe Victoria could help her out there, she hadn’t seen any weapons in the shop but that hardly meant there might not be any in a place with such a heavy fantasy theme.

Footsteps alerted Delilah to someone approaching and she stopped in the middle of her routine, grabbing a towel and putting it over her shoulders, conscious that she was only wearing a sports bra and athletic shorts. Pulling the towel around her, Delilah was surprised to see Ivy approaching with eyes downcast and one hand balled into a fist.

“Umm, hey Delilah. Olivia wanted me to come and give you this..” Ivy opened her hand and showed Delilah a small golden key “Olivia went into the library earlier and said she had to spend a while searching but found both yours and Charlotte’s keys to the library. Rebecca is taking Charlotte her key now. Umm…is that a…a sword?”

Delilah took the key, stowing it in a pocket and then holding up her practise sword, grinning and blushing a little at how foolish she felt. “Yeah, it’s a practise sword. I’ve been learning how to fight so I won’t get caught out when I go into the encounter rooms Aurora talked about.”

Ivy nodded slowly, wide eyed and looking a little nervous “Oh yeah, Olivia was saying we might go and try to try one of the lower priced rooms to see if we can…well, find something like the library. But Y’know…something me and Rebecca can access to, something to give us an edge maybe…” Ivy clasped her hands over her mouth, glancing over her shoulder out the room. “Umm, I need to go. Bye Delilah…”

Delilah watched Ivy retreat, her brows knotted in concern. She needed to talk to Charlotte about what was going on with that little posse.
