Samia Stops at an Inn Nearby

The next town was Novilla. Closer to Samia’s hometown.

She stopped by a village on the outskirts, she looked around wondering where she might sleep tonight. There was little more than a few houses, an inn, and a stable. Maybe she could try her luck again at the inn. Or maybe the stable would be empty, she could find a haystack to hide behind.

The sky was a dark grey, and the rain poured down. She had to make a decision.
