Chapter 10 and the girls

(Nicole POV)

Nicole was quietly enjoying the anime she was watching with Charlotte and Hélène. To be perfectly frank, it wasn't exactly her style. The animation dated from the early 2000s. The characters' outfits were ridiculous and the script of the first episodes was a little childish.

Fortunately, the script got off to a fast start with the fight against Zabuza. It was rather nice, allowing her to clear her head and forget for a moment the mess she'd gotten herself into. She was still ashamed of her previous period of denial. How could she have been so stupid?

Anyway, that was behind her, now she had to do better. The situation was bad, but at least she wasn't alone. Almost every girl here seemed friendly. As for William, she didn't know what to think. Of course, there was the fact that she shouldn't get involved with her patients, but that was clearly the least of her worries.

The episodes passed quickly. Frankly, the anime was okay. She had the opportunity to discover the characters Ino and Shikamaru. She looked at her hair. It had really changed color. She wondered if she'd ever have another physical transformation.

However, she didn't have much imagination about the transformations this would entail. Maybe she'd have more ideas if she watched more episodes.

(Charlotte POV)

As much as Charlotte was wondering why she'd never watched this anime before, she'd obviously missed something. She'd obviously missed something. It was just great. Go Naruto! Unlike Nicole, she could immediately see her associated characters in action. Kakashi was such a badass. On the other hand, Sakura was really useless. She was the anime's useless pink candy. Haku and Zabuza's **** was just too sad. Did they really have to put on such sad music?

That made 2 good characters out of 3, which wasn't too bad. If only Sakura could be a little more useful. Wait a minute, wasn't Nezoko going to make her useless too? How could she earn the esteem of her colleagues if she looked like Sakura? No, no, no, that wasn't right at all. She'd rather have dog-ears 100 times over than end up being as useless as the mop that was Sakura.

(Hélène POV)

Nothing to say, this show was always great. She could see why Mr Hamon loved it. In fact, that was why she'd decided to watch it in the first place. Anything that interested Mr. Hamon was worth watching. Of course, she couldn't ask him directly what he was interested in, that would be a bit too weird. So she had to resort to searching the Internet. It's amazing what people can put on social networks, even people like Mr. Hamon. So she knew his pop culture tastes, his political opinions, his date of birth, his family tree, which she'd memorized down to the fifth generation just to make sure they weren't related by blood. However, despite everything, she also had to resort to more traditional methods, such as following him around, asking him for advice on homework.

This led her to film Mr Hamon's heroic attempt to catch the criminal. At the moment of the gunshot, she had never been so scared in her life. She was only reassured when she was teleported back here and saw Mr. Hamon in good health.

Speaking of this show, at last people were recognizing Mr. Hamon's worth and rewarding him appropriately. Certainly not exactly the method she would have chosen had she been omnipotent. Although making Mr Hamon a Hokage was a good start.

The harem idea wasn't particularly disturbing. Clearly, she didn't deserve to keep Mr Hamon all to herself anyway. No, a man of his quality had to be shared.

On the other hand, it couldn't be said that the members of the harem were really up to Mr Hamon's standards. Okay, maybe her childhood friend deserved a place in the harem, but that was debatable. She'd had years to try and get closer to the Master, but she'd done nothing.

The good news was that he would have plenty of transformation to make all the members of the harem worthy of Mr Hamon. And Mr. Hamon could become even more awesome. In all honesty, Hélène didn't think it was possible. But he'd done it now and could teleport to her, or rather could, because they'd have to kiss first. Oh, she couldn't wait.

As for her own transformations, she was rather pleased. Hinata, the most popular girl in the whole manga, of course she was happy. Then as for Rock Lee and Neji Hyuga, it wasn't ideal, but she'd make do. Especially since her breasts had grown thanks to her first transformation. And even better, they were about to get bigger.

Mr. Hamon liked shapely women. Big breasts and a nice butt were the keys to her seduction of Mr. Hamon. Speaking of Mr Hamon, she'd noticed that he'd left the library with Iris, but that didn't really matter. It's not as if he could run away.

(Elisa POV)

Elisa was having a really hard time reading these books. Who was the idiot who'd thought these books had to be read upside down? She spent her time getting the reading direction wrong. Besides, what was the idea of making comics in black and white? And what were those long-winded names with no head or tail? One thing was certain: Elisa didn't like manga.

What didn't help was that she hadn't been in the habit of reading for years. She kept looking up from her tome to see Karine and Anna chaining tomes together faster than she was chaining pages together. What kind of monsters were these? Well, in all honesty, one was more monstrous than the other. Anna must have been 15 tomes ahead of Karine, but the young woman held her own. As for Elisa, she was struggling to finish volume 5.

In all honesty, it wasn't her kind of reading at all. She would have preferred a good romance or at least a detective story, or even better, a detective story with romance.

Besides, she'd only had a brief glimpse of 2 of the characters. It really wasn't a productive morning. There was only hope that the next transformations would be as sympathetic as the last.

(Anna POV)

Anna placed volume 72 on the right-hand stack. She had finished. It had taken her all afternoon, but she was done. She hadn't really taken the time to take notes, but that didn't really matter - she had a good memory. Anyway, it wasn't as if she had anything to take notes with. Where did Iris get her notepad from anyway?

At least she'd had a chance to read the whole thing once and make up her own mind. The work was correct. She could see how the manga had become so successful. But that wasn't the point of this reading session. The basic aim was to learn more about the upcoming trials and transformations.

As far as the trials were concerned, they could really be a lot of things. She had identified several trials throughout the manga, but there was no indication that one would be chosen over the other. Worse still, these tests were not very erotic, which meant that Nezoko would make them sexual in some other way.

This annoyed Anna, but she found it hard to imagine what the host would change. Maybe she should discuss it with Charlotte, after all, it's her job to get inside the heads of criminals.

As far as the transformations were concerned, she had been more successful. First of all, she had learned an important point. All her characters were antagonists in the story. To put it simply, she had been given only villains and criminals. Sasuke Uchiha was the hero's rival who crossed over to the enemy camp. Kaguya was the world-dominating goddess/ending boss. And Obito Uchiha was one of the main villains of the second half, manipulating the other villains in the shadows without even knowing he was being manipulated.

Each of his characters had an ocular power, so he'd no doubt be offered a few things related to his eyes. Oh, Anna wouldn't complain if she got the sharingan or one of its evolutions, but she frankly doubted that the powers she would receive wouldn't be perverted.

Then there was the fact that the characters were villains, which would undoubtedly be used but how she didn't know. Anyway, she'd learned all she could here, so she might as well get out and see what else was out there. There wasn't much time left before she had to have dinner, but in any case, she had nothing better to do.

(Karine POV)

Karine watched Anna get up from her chair and leave. Unconsciously, she relaxed a little. One of the most intelligent and therefore dangerous people had just left, so she could let her guard down. Of course, she didn't have to let her guard down completely. There were still a lot of people in the room, too many for her taste. But 3 of the 5 people were concentrating on the anime they were watching, Elisa was too busy being annoyed by what she was reading to pay the slightest attention to it and besides, in all honesty, Karine doubted the restaurant chef could identify the slightest threat. No, the only threat could come from Galadriel, who gave her a piercing look from time to time. No doubt she knew.

No, there was no need to worry about that. The show had no interest in burning its cover right away. There'd be no point to it. No, Nezoko would probably use this information to **** her. If only she could find information to **** her back. But obviously that wasn't possible.

Since the information would come out eventually, time was of the essence. First, she had to make sure that those who knew what she did for a living kept their mouths shut. This wouldn't necessarily be easy, but she had no other choice. Fortunately, she was sleeping with William tonight, so this would be the perfect opportunity.

Anyway, although she hadn't completely finished reading all the tomes. There were still 19 to go. She'd pretty much captured the essence of her characters. Bad guys become good guys. A clearer objective was hard to achieve.

It suited her because it was part of her goal. For as long as she kept her profession (if you could call it a profession) a secret, she was going to endear herself to the entire harem. That way, when the information got out, they'd be more likely to trust her again.

Anyway, if she was stuck with these girls for the rest of her life, she might as well try to get along with them.

(Marion POV)

Was there no end to this forest? Marion had decided to take advantage of the fact that the other idiots were still in the library to slip away. She picked a random direction and started walking. She soon reached what she thought was the village boundary. A forest as far as the eye could see. No matter, she hadn't stopped for so little. She began to move slowly at first. The forest was dense, and she found it hard to move forward, especially in her 5 cm heels. Some might say that 5 cm isn't much, but try walking through a forest in them and see what they say after a few hours.

After an hour, she began to wonder if this was a good idea. After 2, she was considering turning back. After 3, she was running in one direction with no idea where she was going.

She had to get out of this forest. This forest couldn't be endless, could it? Logic told her it couldn't, but at the same time that same logic denied the existence of her fox tail, which she could feel so well.

It didn't matter if it meant going back to that show, she had to get out of that forest. What was that bitch's name again?

"Nezoko!"

(Iris POV)

Iris had left William when he had asked her to be alone. It was important not to get too involved at the moment. There would be plenty of other opportunities to pick up scoops. So she decided to continue exploring the village. Eventually, she reached the roof of a Konoha building. Who knows, maybe from here she could see the other important buildings. A basic clue: the taller and more imposing the building, the more important it must be.

From here she could see William standing in front of the cliff. He wasn't supposed to see her, but to her he was like a little spade on top of a cliff. Wait, Stop, had he just jumped?

What a scoop! She had to go over there and look at the corpse. After 10 minutes, she finally arrived at the approximate spot that must have been the point of impact.

Nothing. There was nothing there. Of course, she had considered the possibility that she'd come to the wrong place, so she decided to comb the whole area.

Still nothing. Hadn't he jumped? She could have sworn she'd seen him fall. Maybe he was still up there. Iris climbed back to the top of the cliff. She had to make a detour as she didn't know how to climb such a cliff.

Once she reached the top, exactly where she'd left William, she found no one. But what had happened?
