Grabbing New Clothes!

What better way to start a story than with some new clothes?

You find yourself walking through the town, wandering through the almost empty streets. You recall it to be much livelier last night, when you were out performing and drinking for the tavern. Why, exactly, would a traveling musician and entertainer such as yourself do that, you ask? Well...

You remember first arriving at this small, away-from-society town a few days ago, intending to stay for a day or two, then continue your travels, aiming to increase your reputation as a noble, handsome traveling bard whose songs sound like ambrosia to the ears.

Unfortunately, that dream has been put on hold for a bit. Details are shaky, but you recall enough that you got embroiled in a bar fight on your first night here. It happened in a flash: one moment, you were drinking peacefully, at the brink of passing out in front of the bartender, and the next, you were lifting a chair in “righteous” anger above someone who chose to insult your mother. Personally, you choose to blame the **** for that.

Anyways, you trip and fall.

During that short flashback session, you weren’t paying all that much attention to your surroundings and ended up tripping, falling flat on your face into the dirt road below, almost managing to fall on your instrument in the process.

Quickly standing up and dusting yourself off, you look at the object you manage to trip on and sigh in relief. On the sign is an illustration of a thread and needle, below the illustration is admittedly neat writing that simply reads: “Tailor.” The Immortal Emperor does shine down upon you, huh?

Seeing as a peer through the store windows reveal that it’s open, quite a rarity at this hour, you choose to step into the store and greet the clerks attending it.
