Penny calmed down a bit, but the arousal and the panic weren't disappearing that easily. She took out her phone and stuck the subvocal mic to her throat.

"Why don't you keep the mic on if you want to talk?" Emma sounded genuinely confused, and her avatar on the phone screen adopted a confused expression.

"It doesn't stick to my skin when I get sweaty. I forgot the sport band at home... Wait, you can't figure that out?"

"Sometimes it is easier to ask you. My surveillance permissions are highly inconsistent and sometimes difficult to employ. I am heavily regulated and I often need to request access from other parts of the NGI."

"Awww, poor little killbot. Helicopter parents keeping you too busy with murderwork, no time to engage in voyeurism hobbies of your own choosing. How fucking relatable."

The man with the laptop turned his head toward Penny. It was a casual movement, but he turned away sharply when he saw that she was watching him.

"What a creep." Penny shuddered a little, but when she shifted her weight it felt like there was a bit of moisture in her panties. It was uncomfortable. "How did he cross the room so fast? Did I black out a bit, before he attacked me?"

Emma narrowed her eyebrows. "No, not that I could see, but there is enough corrupt data in the file that it might be possible. Also, you might have attacked him. All current data suggests you are causing strange events."

"It's not on fucking purpose you dorpy fucking shitstick, does it look to you like I--"

Penny caught herself. She had started shouting out loud, which made the boys and the man glance in her direction. They didn't look long, since it was obvious that Penny was on the phone.

Emma didn't wait for Penny to collect her thoughts. "I recommend talking to some humans. There are no data errors right now, and talking to me is not proving useful."
