Lost in Town

Eris finds herself hopelessly lost in the maze-like streets of the Capital. She’s never been the best with directions and coupled with the omni-directional flow of human traffic, she is pushed and shoved until she finds herself in a strange part of the Capital.

‘What is this place?’ Eris wonders.

The buildings here are all ramshackle and seedy, bearing glowing neon signs with words like Gloryhole Bar, Cabaret Club and Soapland that Eris didn’t understand. Looking around, Eris notices that there are quite a number of scantily-clad women of all races leaning against doorways or standing by barrels.

“Hey sweetie? Looking for a fun time?” A woman dressed in nothing but a loincloth calls out to her.

Eris has discovered the Red Light District.

Eris squeaks out a no and scuttles away, before accidentally running headfirst into a man’s chest. “Woah, watch where you’re going.”

“S-sorry!” Eris apologizes.

“Woah! You’re a real cutie. How much for a night?” The man, noticing her huge honkers, mistakes her for a prostitute.

“Huh?” Eris stares at him in confusion.

The man looks to be middle-aged, balding and portly. In a way, he reminded her of Mr Cox back in Samoyed. However, his face looks much less friendly.

“Come on now, don’t play dumb. A broad like you wandering around this place means you’re looking for this, right?” He takes out a bag of coins and jingles it. “Besides, I think you owe me some service for banging into me.”

A lecherous smile splits his face as he wraps his arm around Eris’ shoulders and pulls her against his fat belly. “I’ll show you a good time. You’ll be in love with my cock soon enough.”

Eris struggles to get a word in against the forceful man as he starts walking her towards the closest building, a shabby-looking inn called the Love-inn.

“Hey old man! Leave her alone!” Suddenly, a loud voice calls out, halting them in their tracks.

“What?” The middle-aged man turns and freezes as a tall, blonde youth towers over him.

Eris swears this newcomer looks like Brandon’s long-lost brother. He had the same sandy-blonde hair, tanned skin and cocky smirk on his face. However, he was wearing a loud Hawaiian shirt that he left unbuttoned, showing off the garish gold chain hanging around his neck and his well-defined abs.

“It’s clear this chick doesn’t want to go with you. So beat it!” The youth makes a shoo-ing motion with his hand.

“Grrr…” The man grits his teeth in anger but recognises he’s been outclassed, much like when a cheetah is **** to give up its meal to a lion.

He slinks away, leaving Eris alone with her savior. Little did she know, it was out of the frying pan and into the fire.

“Thank you so much!”

“No worries.” The young man says. “It’s what anybody would do. Hey, how about we go for a drink?”
