Awesome, Pete thought, he was worried it would be too difficult to earn more coins but it was starting out easy. And what about these quests? He clicked on the quest tab and saw they were sorted into daily and monthly. He started by checking out the daily quests and a window popped up.

Daily Quests do not award any coins or experience but unlock perks to help on your quest to become the ultimate Master. Uncompleted quests expire at midnight each night.

Pete grinned, well he'd go see Annie and knock of those first two easy-peasy. He'd wait to see how good these perks were before bothering with the pushups. He wasn't out of shape, not really, but he also wasn't super fit. That didn't sound fun, so he'd pass for now.

Pete gave an exasperated sigh, "The app! Our plan worked. Look at the app." Annie took his phone and started scrolling.

"I don't get it, what am I supposed to be seeing? This just looks like cute dog pictures...are you ok?"

"Annie, no, it's..." It suddenly clicked in Pete's mind. A fucking magic app. Of course, it would only work for him. That was even better, it meant he didn't have to worry about using it around Kelly. He grinned, "Don't worry, I'll explain."
