BAE Chapter 87
Nerdy. Nerdy will be fun. There are so many ways to go with it.
This should be a real disguise like Bruce used to do. Sara Smith should be so different from Stephanie Brown that even her mother won’t know her.
The real Stephanie Brown had to form certain habits in college when she was moonlighting as Batgirl, such as dressing in a way that people wouldn’t notice how fit she was. That meant a lot of jeans and crewneck sweatshirts and stuff. Stephanie Brown really only got to have a figure when she was out at some high society nonsense with Tim.
So Sara Smith will have a figure. Oh, yes.
Pantsuit? No. Pencil skirt. Blazer. Big glasses. Tight bun. Serious earrings. Really, really serious shoes. Sexy nude pantyhose.
There’s no time to enjoy the shopping; she has to get it done if she doesn’t want to be late. It’s only when she’s getting dressed that she realizes the problem.
First, there’s fitting this penis into her underwear. She should’ve bought something a little more… accommodating, but didn’t think of it. Then there’s getting the pantyhose in place without messing anything up, then there’s getting all of that zipped up with the skirt. That takes a lot of pushing, pressing, tucking, and hopping around. Once that’s done, it’s hardly comfortable, but she can’t change course now. She gets herself fixed up and puts on her fake glasses, which Alfred had to drive over from the manor. Bruce has a huge collection of fake glasses.
“How do I look?” she asks Alfred, spreading her arms. She wants to do a little spin, but she can’t risk it; the spikes she’s wearing are lethal weapons, and she can’t be Batgirl if she breaks her ankle.
“Quite fetching,” Alfred says, packing up his suitcase of hair styling equipment and accessories. “Perhaps too fetching for a mere aid to the planning committee of the incumbent’s campaign.”
“Never too fetching,” Stephanie replies, admiring herself in the mirror. This look is everything she wanted it to be. “Yes. I strike fear into the heart of every married woman who lies awake at night thinking their husband will hire a secretary like me. Sara Smith’s villain name will be Homewrecker. This is Homewrecker’s big debut, Alfred. This is big. I can feel it.”
Alfred stands there, wearing an expression that’s difficult to identify.
“I’m happy for you, Ms. Brown.”
“Thank you, Alfred. Did you bring me a snack?”
“No, I’m afraid. I have failed you.”
“It’s OK. If I eat anything I’ll bust out of this. Might’ve gone a little too tight. This is what it was like to be a… Jane Austen.”
“A Jane Austen?” Alfred echoes, pained.
“You know. An old-timey woman in a sexy corset and she can’t breathe. Like Kiera Knightley!”
“Yes. Quite.”
“Guess I’ll get a cab. A mere aide shouldn’t be pulling up in a Rolls.”
“Indeed.”
“And Alfred?”
“Yes, Ms. Brown?”
“Did you or Bruce hold onto any of my old gear? I notice that Babs and Kate use stuff that’s a little…”
“A little what, Ms. Brown?”
“Vanilla.”
He nods. “I’ll see what I can do.”
“You’re the best.” She hurries over and pops up to peck his cheek, then makes her way out. Big debut.

The campaign has rented offices in the heart of downtown, where the elevated train and elaborate structures make the massive streets and buildings feel tight and almost claustrophobic. Even the newer buildings have architectural flourishes that make them appear gothic, and there are altogether too many grotesques for Stephanie’s liking. It feels like there’s no sky when she steps out of her cab underneath the train, making her way through revolving doors into a lobby lit by old-timey chandeliers. She used to like that Gotham was this way before she got into the crime-fighting business. Now, she can only think about how nice it is to work in modern buildings—like Janis Cosmetics—where things aren’t so busy and old-fashioned.
Upstairs, she meets the assistant campaign manager, who will serve as her supervisor. She’s a brisk woman who seems focused on business without being mean about it. If Stephanie’s appearance bothers her, she doesn’t show it.
Stephanie finds that she has gravely miscalculated. First, most of the people working the campaign at this stage are women, so it’s not clear who her sexy disguise is supposed to impress. OK, she knows that it’s not supposed to impress anyone, but it’s the principle of the thing. Second, all she’s doing is making copies, coffee, and deliveries. That means constant walking around. Her feet and back are causing her more discomfort than tussling with Zsasz did.
Meanwhile, it’s mind-numbing work. There’s nothing to spy on at this point except for noting the identities of the handful of important people already connected to the campaign, which she duly takes care of. That leaves her mind free to wander.
To things like Riley Beaumont. And Kate this morning. And the fact that she has a completely new body part, and it doesn’t behave like her other naughty bits. Just the memory of those scintillating things is enough to make it start feeling weird and trying to get hard, which is both stressful and uncomfortable because she doesn’t want anyone seeing it.
Then things get really weird as she sits, stapling agendas together. Despite trying to keep her thoughts appropriate, she is rock-hard, trapped in these clothes. For a little while that was painful, but now movement causes friction and pressure, and that feels good. Really good.
Stephanie gives into temptation and pauses what she’s doing, letting herself think and remember certain things, in no particular order. She comes to her senses and shakes her head. She can’t do that. Nursing a grudging hard-on is bad enough. Her face is red and she’s begun to sweat. She’s quite wet down there, and she knows about precum, so there’s a lot to be stressed about.
“Hey,” her boss snaps. “You good, new girl?”
“Yes Ma’am,” Stephanie replies, straightening up and squeezing her legs together. She really should have taken care of this before she came here. Even if it had made her late. Kate had the right idea by jerking off.
“There’s a reporter coming up. Get her out of here. Keep her busy for a few minutes. Buy us half an hour,” the boss says. “Can you do that?”
Stephanie’s fevered brain turns that over.
Should she accept the task? [ Interactions with a reporter (Vicki Vale) while turned on in these clothes; complications/lewd scene ]
Or excuse herself/go home sick [ Solo scene and cut to Barbara at Wayne Enterprises ]
