Black Anna notices you

"Avast, me hearties! What's this?"

You shrug, unimpressed by the vicious pirate, though her grin is as wide as it is evil and the fire of conquest burns brightly in her eyes. Clearly, this is a woman who likes to win. The sheepish passengers clear a path across the deck as she strides towards you.

"Little late to rise this morning, are we, laddie? Yer ship's been taken, and yer valuables with it. So empty them pockets, boy."

"Sure." Black Anna's ship, the Tempest, is hauled up next to your merchantman, the skull and crossbones flying from its mainmast. Or whatever mast that is. You don't know a lot about ships. You turn your pockets inside out, revealing there's nothing in them but dust. It was a long evening with the bosun, and he turned out to be damn good at cards. You could have cheated more, of course, but you don't like being that unfair with men.

"Ye look like a man of means, boy. Ye must have more than that."

"Wait, am I a man of means or a boy? Which is it?"

"Yesterday ye be a man. Now, ye be but a boy." Black Anna does her best to tower over you, though you're about the same height. "Ye'd best hand over ye gold, boy. Find something more for me in them pants... or it'll be the pants themselves I'm taking."

A chorus of gasps runs through the crowd. You're surrounded by men and women. The passengers of the ship, clad mostly in their nightwear, and the small skeleton crew of the merchantman, plus the leering, jeering lady pirates, all of whom seem very excited to watch Black Anna push someone around. Sure would be embarrassing to lose your pants in front of this crowd!
