4. She banishes the thought

After a brief pause, she banishes any suspicion of anything following her and continues on her way.

Lygia scrambles to her feet and takes off into the woods. She runs blindly, just trying to get away. After a bit, she stops running and listens for the kobolds. It’s silent. She pants, her body hot. She looks up at the sky, trying to figure out where she is now. The stars are still high, giving her something to navigate by even as the sun begins to rise in the east.
