To the football practice field

John knew that spring practice had started for the season. The football program was expected to compete for a national title, or at least a BCS Bowl. If all the other males had disappeared, he would know it just by going down to watch the practice.

When he arrived there, he immediately knew his theory was right. There was nobody on the practice field. No players, no coaches, no training staff. This cemented his theory that he was the only guy left on the planet.

But how had this happened? Did some alien invasion abduct all the men or was this a consequence of all the nuclear testing back in the '50s and '60s?

Regardless, he had to think of something to do about this.
