Jack finished stripping Miranda completely until she was naked. Nothing hiding her perfect body. Miranda worked on Jack getting her completely naked as well. “Jack…” Miranda whispered. “I’ve missed you. A lot. Thinking that you were at risk… that I almost lost you…”
Jack kissed Miranda silencing her. “What you’re feeling. I feel 10x more about you,” Jack said. “You are an ex Cerberus operative being hunted and risking your own life for this godforsaken universe. Just… just tell me you’re not doing something stupid.”
Miranda whispered. “I can’t. I’m sorry, Jack. This is too important for me.”
Jack paused gazing at Miranda. “It has to do with your father… and your sister… right?”
Miranda didn’t answer as she looked away. Jack sighed. She held Miranda and laid next to her, resting her head on her chest. “Jack, I would do anything to save her,” Miranda whispered. “Anything.”
“I get it,” Jack said. “You know I do. But please. Get someone to help you. Tell Shepard at least.”
Miranda nodded. “Maybe… no you’re right. I shouldn’t be so reckless. But I don’t want to lose her.”
Jack nodded as she kissed Miranda. Jack whispered. “I love you.”
Miranda smiled. “I love you too.”
