Picking Work Studies

The day continues on like most do at UA, no villain attack, no world ending threat popping up for the heroes in training to stop. While there is still evil lurking within the society they've sworn to protect, for the moment at least it seems to have grown somewhat stagnant. Still that doesn't stop everyone from continuing their training, honing their craft for the inevitable day of reckoning. After getting through basic schooling seen across the country in Japan, algebra, language... Class 1-A finds they'll finally be furthering their progress with their hero work. The second round of work studies for the year is just around the corner, an opportunity to work with actual pros that have years, sometimes decades of experience under their belt.

Izumi taps her foot under her desk, scratching her head as she looks at the list in front of her. "Hmm..." A few agencies that she's been considering for a while try to grab her attention. At this point she's narrowed everything down to just three.

Glancing over, she sees Shoko Todoroki, daughter of Endeavor, with her elbow on the desk, her arm holding her head up with boredom. She already knows where she'll be going, and in fact, Izumi actually got an offer for the same Agency... Her dad, the new number one hero wants to see what some of the top students of 1-A are made of.

Usually, Izumi would jump on such an informative and valuable experience. But the more she's thought about it, Endeavor doesn't really seem like a hero that would fit the kind of growth she might need... especially when she's received another offer from yet another top hero...

Blocking out Endeavor and Gran Torino on her list, Izumi fills in her info under her choice for the internship that should help her the most.

'Rabbit Hero: Mirko'

The room is silent, filled with the sound of pens hitting paper, the occasional whisper or cough breaking the tension. Until Katsumi rises from her chair, making sure to slide her chair back into Izumi's desk. She looks back, walking past her childhood rival and over to Shoko. "Hey... I'm accepting Endeavor's invite." She says sternly, firmly placing her form down on the half and half heroine's desk.

With a blank expression, Shoko looks up. "He invited you and Izumi, right? Is she going too?" They both look over at Izumi, who gives a wave and a nervous smile, shaking her head slowly. "Hm... Guess not..."

"Hah, that's gonna be her loss then!" Katsumi smirks. "She's gonna fall behind if she doesn't train with the best!"

Eventually, everyone turns in their forms, and the bell rings to send them to lunch. Packing her stuff in her bag, Izumi notices Hagakure, something rare as the girl usually is able to get around pretty much undetected. She quickly leaps from her chair, heading over to Mina Ashido on their way out of the door. They've always been friends, but the way she actively sought out Mina... "Huh, wonder if they have something going on?"
