Miss Serena Lilacmane, 3rd Class Mage!

You are Serena Lilacmane, a talented human mage prodigy from the city of Twineford. The third child of a noble family, you were never expected to achieve much. Whilst your eldest sibling was set to inherit the family fortune and the middle child was given a career in the church, your prospects seemed bleak. Rather than be left to be married off to some noble family, you determined to make your own way in the world.

Ever since you were a child, you have had some talent for magic and as such, taking a portion of the family's funds, you headed to the capital, where you enrolled at the Mage's Academy. Your skills quickly began to grow and before too long, you had worked your way up through the ranks of the Academy. By the age of 15, you were the youngest mage to ever recieve full certification and now at the age of 20, you are a skilled 3rd Class Mage! However the coveted ranks of 2nd and 1st still ly tantalizing out of reach: whilst your academic performance is outstanding, you have yet to actually prove your skills as a mage in the field. As such, this quest is something of a training mission for you: to bring back the dragon's head and prove that you are capable of holding your own among the ranks of your fellow mages.

Physcially you are 5 foot 4 inches tall and full bodied, without being fat. You are rather busty and have shapely rear... and know it! Your black-purple mage's gown is rather revealing, with much of your cleavage and thighs exposed. You wear thigh high stockings and suspenders and have a witch's hat that spreads far past your shoulders, trimmed with gold lace. You carry a large staff, with a shining purple jewel embedded in the end, serving as both a weapon and a spellcasting focus. Perhaps your most striking feature however is your hair: pale purple and reaching down to your waist, it is clear where you got the title of "Lilacmane" from.

In terms of skills, you are not particularly tough or dexterous and have below average physical strength... the heaviest thing you have lifted for years is a grimoire! However your mind is sharp and your looks and charming personality give you an advantage in social situations and in avoiding traps and ambushes. You also know a number of spells, mostly focussed on Evocation magic. That is to say, you're good at blowing things up.

And so! As you stand before the gaping cavern entrance, you feel a chill roll up your spine. Gripping your staff with steely determination, you step forward, heading deep into the dragon's lair.

A few hundred yards into the tunnel, it is already dark. You whisper a short incantation and a small ball of light envelopes the end of your staff, giving you enough light to see by. You press forward and soon you reach a junctiong: a fork in the path. Which way do you go, left or right?
