[P] Suit up and recover

Exhausted she kneels down at the suit, any magical remains within are gone but she can definitely gather some of its parts to boost her defenses. Most of the helmet is dented, and she has no use for the legs.. the breastplate seems unable to fit her size but those arm straps.. She picks them up and binds them to her arms allowing her to use them as a shield of sorts, the shield the knight was using has vanished somehow..

She lets out a yawn and decides she might as well try to get some rest, she eats one of her rations and takes a long rest. Hopefully not to be interrupted..

Halfway through her rest she awakens by a sound feeling off, she listens closely.. [19] She recognizes the sound of a beast approaching its prey and quickly comes to a stand, drawing her bow she aims in its general direction.. face to face with a wolf. She takes her shot [Ae 17] > [Wo 9, 5] her arrow strikes for [4] damage.

The wolf growls and jumps at her neck: [W 10] < [Ae 16] Being as tall as she is she easily staggers and scares the beast back. Her hooves come crashing down: [Ae 15] < [W 16]. It jumps back in time, only to stride forth and snap at her legs [Wo 17] < [Ae 23]

She manages to lift her leg just in time, now she trots back and fires another arrow at its neck [Ae 28] > [W 8, 18] for [8 dmg]

The wolf is looking far less confident, sleeping prey was easy but this is different.. it barks and bites [Wo 14] > [Ae 3, Natural 1]
Its fangs sink in and deal [6 dmg] the centaur can feel herself close to fainting again. She attempts to finish off her opponent before she falls [Ae 15] > [W3, 15] and lands it for [2] dmg. It immediately attempts to retaliate but bites thin air [Natural 1]. As she staggers with her hooves to come crashing down on the wolf however it in turn dodges the attack. [Ae 10] < [Wo 11]

The both of them are fighting for their lives as the wolf takes another lunge at its intended prey [Wo13] < [Ae 22] however she is quick to throw out her arm, the wolf bites in the metal plating and loosens its grip. She fires again [Ae15] > [Wo 3, 9] The arrow lands true and the wolf collapses, whimpering softly before Aeylin finishes it with her small skinning knife to ease its suffering.

She decides to walk over to a spot a little further and rest up fully, she still needs to recover and hopes that the offering of a wolf keeps the wild occupied long enough.. hoping it doesn't attract any undesired attention.

Once she fully recovers it is still dark out but she feels as if it's close to morning. Then again her whole circadian rhythm has been thrown off after her adventures earlier.. her ears perk up at the sound of wet footsteps all around her, in the dim lighting she can make out 5 bipedal creatures, their features slowly revealed to be reminiscent of frogs, each wearing a spear and a net so she is immediately ready for combat.
