It is indeed special

The next day starts off indeed as something ceremonial. The two of you are escorted out of your cages, getting breakfast from the dildo. After that, your blindfolds unlocked, you are escorted to the bridge, bent down, and you start getting fucked by the crew, looking at a desert planet as a ship pops into sight in front of you.

It is just like you imagined it to be. A corporate freighter, lightly armed, yet bulky, ripe for anyone who is determined enough to take the risk. But then you can see another vessel that exists FTL next to your target. However it actually starts facing your vessel.

"Open fire on that ship!" Neil orders. Your mind connecting the dots also. That Suzy sold you out. And you bet it is because a substantial bounty was placed on your heads. Meaning that right now you either defend yourselves, or you could collectively beat it.

The Gneisenau opens fire on the other on the other vessel. By that time its shield had been already raised however, the incoming shots absorbed by the energy field.

"Fuck!" You can hear one of the crewmen say. You recall it is James. The pilot.

"Keep shooting!" Neil orders. The Nova Core freighter jumping away in the midst of the action.

You stand motionless as the two ships begin to face each other, exchanging shot after shot in the blackness. But the enemy ship is just more accurate. The bolts breaching your shield and causing major damage to the hull.

"We are going down!" you can hear James say. And indeed, the Gneisenau starts to get sucked in by the planet's gravity well, the other ship in pursuit, shot after shot blazing past you.

"We need to get them off of our backs!" James says ****.

"Jettison the cargo," you can hear another man say. You recall it is Clarkson. Neil's right hand. "If we are lucky, it might get them."

"Do it," Neil nods.

James does as ordered, and the cargo is jettisoned, right in front of your opponent. And for the Stars, it works! The enemy ship crashing down towards the surface with a gaping hole in its hull. Problem is: you are still crashing. And you soon collide to the surface not far from the other vessel.
