Chapter 12 by Kougyoku Kougyoku

What's next?

An interview, part one

You've had Wendy clean up and helped yourself to some bottled water. You are relaxing on the couch and Wendy is there as well, cuddling up with you, still naked. Honestly, you could get used to this. Soon enough, the door opens and who you assume is Emily walks in.

"Hey Jack. Wendy. Looks like you've already made yourself comfortable. Glad to see that. My name is Emily and I'll be interviewing you today, please come to the table and we'll get started."

You head to the table, "So I'll be sponsoring Wendy then?" A squeal is heard.

"Wendy, we went over this." Emily says, causing the bunny girl to pout. Turning her attention to you, "No. We saw where you said you wanted to find a match for some of our long term girls. You can imagine the excitement amongst them, it was hard to screen them out. So, you kinda have a big audience today." Emily says as she brings out a camera, points it to you, and presses a button. "Say hi there Jack, you're pretty popular back there."

You wave towards the camera. "Hi everyone. Hope you can see me ok and that I make a good impression."

"Alright Jack, we have a normal list of questions, but I simply have to know, why did you say you wanted to sponsor a girl who's been here a while? You know they're the more... Exotic types. Spider girls, demonkin, pixies."

You reply, looking down, and hurt and continue her list as you answer. "The unwanted. The unchosen. The last to be picked for the team when everyone has to play. I was that guy. So I know what it's like." You take a breath, holding up your hand. A tear streaks down your face. "Sorry. I really understand. I want to choose them. Nothing against Wendy here, she'll make a fine match to a sponsor in a heartbeat. But these girls, the unmatched. That's where you'll find the real treasures."

Emily nods. "You know, you also answered me why you want to be a sponsor in that same response. So we'll skip that. Tell me about your living and financial situation. You said you'd talk about it in person."

"Yeah. Couple years back was a nasty divorce. Ex wife took damn near everything. I was lucky to have my clothes on my back, and roof over my head. I lived paycheck to paycheck with the alimony, child support, health insurance, rent, you name it. I'm a bit better off now but I still have to pay her a ton of money every month. I'm a government worker, so my paycheck isn't much, but it is steady. I have a modest one thousand square foot two bedroom apartment, the details are in the application."

A couple buzzers and notification dings on her phone. "Several matches. Let me ask you a few more questions to see if anyone else drops out."
