Mercedes "Mercy" White, office assistant

Mercy sighed to herself as she finished up the latest mindless task her boss had given her. It was already after five, and most of the office had cleared out for the night, but she was stuck at her desk—which was really just a small table behind the copier—painstakingly adding tags to a batch of images. It was "urgent," of course, like everything.

But Mercy was a professional, and understood she would need to "pay her dues" to get anywhere, so she was used to putting on a smile to get through the day.

As she closed down her workstation and picked up her phone to see what her friends were up to that night, she noticed it was already unlocked and an unfamiliar app was on the screen. The interface was simple, almost juvenile, with zero helpful information or descriptions of what anything meant. It was just three pictures.

There was no way to close the app, and she couldn't exit to the home screen, or even pull down notifications to read her texts. She had to play.
