Mr. West, a mysterious individual

Sat at the top of the largest tower in the city; in an extravagant penthouse office of oak, silk and velvet. The air scented with expensive incense; the room illuminated with the bright rays of the midday sun. An oak desk sits in the middle, expertly handcrafted, finely finished. Blemished only by the sprawl of files and reports being scoured over by our VIP of our season. The CEO, The Master. Focused on the task before him, blocking out all ambience and not noticing the new prescence before him. A maid stands at the door, uniform perfect. Polished mask obscuring her face while a folder sits, clutched against her chest.

"Master West?" The voice cuts through his focus causing a small jump in surprise.

"Who are you? And how did you get in here?" The maid stares, with as much expression as a mask could muster, before taking steps towards the desk.

"That information is irrelevant. I come with a proposal from my Master. Please read thoroughly Master West." The maid places the folder infront of our VIP, a logo embossed in gold on the front 'HH: Harem Hotel'.

"Answer me or I shall call security." Anger resonates through his words as the maid stands unflinching.

"That would be futile Master West. Please read through the proposal."

"Futile! Enough of these games." Mr West picks up the phone placed on his desk, though he is met with silence, not even the normal dull tone can be heard.

"They will not come."

"What are you talking about?"

"This office has been separated from the flow of time. The proposal is confidential. Please read."

Mr West looks out of his office window. Pedestrians, cars, birds, everything and everyone frozen in place. Seeing truth to the figures words he would sit back at his desk and opens the folder.

"What is all this?"

"The proposal explains everything you need to know"

Mr West flips through the pages reading each one carefully before making it to the end.

"And I was chosen?"

"Indeed Master West."

"Fine, I accept."

The maid bows to The master before she disappears in a blink of the eye, folder along with her, and the ambient noice of the world returns.

"This will be interesting"
