"Kyuk...guk...Pl-pl-Gyuk..."

"Huh, what's that? I can't hear you...breathe!"

Thorjen felt the already heavy pressure tightening around his neck. He was losing consciousness fast; his body was already reaching its limit for how much more it could endure. Just when he was seconds away from darkness overtaking his vision, he heard a soothing voice of reason nearby.

"Edna, stop messing around and end it. We've caused too much ruckus already."

"No chance, Chusi. Look at my face! This Damn Elf did something crazy to me. Hey, you, how did you do that...go on...show me...SHOW ME!"

"EDNA! You've crushed his windpipe; how can he speak?"

"Tsk! That's good; at least he won't cry while I make him suffer. How dare you damage my face? Take that - and this - and this again."

Edna slammed Thorjen heavily against the ground, then raised him up and slammed his body down again. Her tail was like an extension of her arm, effortlessly slamming his head into the ground, sinking it deeper each time. After a few repetitions, Thorjen's head was leaking copious amounts of blood; his vision was foggy, and all he could hear were very faint voices mixed with the constant ringing in his ears.

'Am I dying...yes, I must be.'

His mind was a fog of nothingness; pain had become so unbearable that he was certain part of his brain had already seized all functions. He could do nothing but continue being the ragdoll to the ferocious girl's anger. All his bloodshot eyes could behold was Arya's body slumped against the ground. If only he wasn't so weak; if only he could do something to allow her to live. Then he was alright with dying. After all, isn't this what the fates wanted?

"Stop this madness now, Edna. Here, look..." Chusi made her way towards the dismayed short-haired girl and held out her two hands over the side of her badly wounded face. A greenish glow began emanating from her palms, and very quickly, Edna's wounds were being healed. After a brief pause, Edna looked over her body a few times before a look of childish glee slowly formed.

"Chusi! You're amazing; thank you, thank you!"

"J-just do what I've said now; kill the Elf and let's be on our way."

"B-but, Chusi, this Elf is really strange. He is weak, so weak, but...that attack he surprised me with. I've never faced something like that; it was just like...you know who?"

Chusi's brow flinched slightly.

"You mean Lord Elder? That's impossible. Are you sure you didn't hit your head in that cave?"

"No, I'm certain. Look at what I was reduced to. If I hadn't activated the half-dragon form, I might've been in a very bad state. Tsk, fucking stupid Elf, going around throwing super annoying balls. I should remove your neck and carry it around. Or perhaps I'll take out your spine first."

Chusi kept silent for a few moments in deep thought, then she focused her attention on Thorjen. She held out a single finger with a very dense and sharp nail on its end. She effortlessly carved open Thorjen's garments to reveal his bare torso. Chusi focused on something unseen to the naked eye; her vision slowly turned amber, and a look of terror suddenly disrupted any form of composure she had.

"N-no w-way...It...can't be..."

"What is it? What did you see, Chusi? What the hell is he hiding?"

Chusi's eyes were rattling with intense fear, a sight not even Edna had ever seen displayed on her elder sister's face before.

"Ed...gulp...Edna, use your draconic vision...do it now." Her voice was barely a whisper as she demanded her sister to obey her orders, her gaze never leaving Thorjen's torso.

Edna reluctantly followed suit, using her bloodline vision to see what her sister had seen. Almost immediately, her own eyes rattled with disbelief, and she momentarily released the grip her tail had over Thorjen's neck. Thorjen crumbled like a lifeless vessel of meat, slithering down her tail and landing in a heap on the ground.

"N-n-no-no...How is that...he's been marked...y-young master's mark? Chusi...how is that possible?"

"I...gulp... Edna, wake up. Its...it's him, he's the one Young master doted upon. The one he chose to center around this game he decided to play. Fuck! How the hell did we not realize it was him?"

"That's impossible! What is he doing all the way out here...on the beast people's land? And wh-what will happen to us now..."

"Damn it, Edna! I told you we should've forgone that stupid egg. Fuck! Young master won't be happy once he finds out we broke him...wait, I can heal him? Yes! I'll heal him and forget we ever stumbled across him...Hey Edna, snap out of it."

Edna was staring into the empty air; clearly, the revelation had hit her harder than it did Chusi.

"B-but...he's so weak...he's a fucking Elf...why would young master....whimpers why...are we not good enough to play with sniffle Waaaaaaaa! Why, Chusi! why is it the fucking weak Elf Waaaaaa!"

"Edna, this isn't the time-"

"Don't tell me to stop! You know it too sniffles this is fair, the young master cares more about weak Elves than us, Chusi. Look where we are, even brother Ryuu was given a mission close to young master. This is unfair; it's so unfair. Sniffle"

"Sigh...I...I know, but we can't go against one of the dragon heads. You know this, sigh...this is just the way things are."

Sniffles-whimper b-but what about if we did, Chusi...just this once."

"What are you talking about, Edna?"

"What if we...k-killed him? That way young master would be more focused on the war? Think about it, the queen secretly tasked us with making sure he doesn't do anything crazy, but look. Dead Elves and beast hordes, Chusi, we've already gone into the crazy zone. So for Master, lets...lets do it."

Chusi couldn't help massaging the space between her willow brows.

"Edna, do you know what will happen to us if he finds out...if we kill the Elf then we are as good as dead."

"Without Young master, then I'm already dead inside, Chusi! And he's abandoned us! for fucking Elves? You know it as well, ending this madness is the assured way to get him on track."

Chusi could barely believe what she was hearing, not to mention who she was currently hearing it from. The one person who would possibly burn down the entire royal palaces if her precious young master asked it of her. And now..."F-fine...sigh...let's kill him. For Young Master's sake...for the war. Let's end this."

Chusi's agreement sent Edna into gleeful hysterics. She swiftly lowered her tail to pick up Thorjen's body.

"You hear that Elf. You're still going to die kukukuku." She cackled, "But before that...I want you to taste despair before I let you go free into the next world."

Edna walked towards the sprawled figure of Arya, carrying Thorjen securely within her thick tail.

"Look...I will crush your companion before your very eyes. In our culture, this is what we call...an eye for an eye kukuku."

Edna raised her foot and stamped down

*CRUNCH* Aryas body jerked forwards as her legs were broken. A blood-curdling scream tore through the air

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHH!"

"HAHAHHAHA Yes-scream-more give me more"

*Crunch* Crunch* *SNAP* *CRUNCH*

Edna continued to stomp down over and over, until a pool of carmine was beneath her feet.

Edna playfully licked her lips before dangling Thorjens sunken helm just above Aryas bloodied form. Pieces of his blonde hair kissed the pool of blood. She swiftly raised him up again, watching the droplets trail down his beautiful face and into his mouth.

"Nowe then how should I kill yo-"

*BLERUGH!* a spray of blood splattered against Ednas face,

A clawed hand tore through Thorjens back and appeared on the other side of his chest. Edna was shocked to see Chusi standing there, her arm covered in Thorjens blood and insides.

"EDNA! That is fucking enough" She removed her entire arm out of Thorjens body. Now that he had been killed Edna lost all the joy she once had and allowed his body to fall directly on top of Arya's.

A realm shrouded in gloom contained an unfathomable aura, so potent that even Gold-Ranked knights might struggle to maintain their composure within it. Floating shapes, upside-down stairwells, and seemingly out-of-place objects filled this surreal space. In the center, a bright white light cascaded through a squared opening in the heavens. There were no visible walls, just vast azure skies filled with countless clouds.

In this eerie setting stood a ghoulish figure on the edge of a brass platform. His skin was ghostly white, and the color of his lips matched the various runes covering his neck, arms, and face. Despite wearing a hood, strands of his braided white hair flowed freely, and his eyes were the most bewitching shade of magenta.

A deep stillness enveloped him as he squinted his eyes and eventually spotted what he had been waiting for—a young boy's body floating high above, suspended in the air, motionless and unresponsive. Suddenly, the delicate sound of footsteps approached, and the figure turned his gaze to find a short, platinum-haired girl with grey skin and two distinctive crimson horns approaching. She exuded an overbearing presence and carried herself with an air of authority.

"They say that time is the most precious gift. For hasn't time driven men to search for immortality beyond their comprehension? We, the children of fate, as they call us, have always known, seen, and understood. That child, like all the children of fate, is either a demon king candidate or a hero destined to save this world," she said, as she stood beside the figure.

"They call you the Dao of Chaos, don't they? It's fitting, after all, even an ancient and fallen clan like the Red Snow has heard tales of the nomad who mastered 100 unorthodox martial arts." The figure remained unmoved, his gaze fixed on the floating boy.

"You are the tyrannical little lady from the Sanguine Clan, the clan of Red Snow...Vampires eh? So fate has bound you in its chains?"

"Chains? Oh no-no, I placed my own soul within there. Don't you see...that child is everything. But you knew that already, for only a child of fate could understand the true intentions of the Fates..."

"No one truly knows the will of the Fates."

"Ahaha, your act is commendable oh pupil of the blind Cultivator, Starmas the man who mastered 100 martial techniques. But let me tell you this: I know, and you know, that the Fates have been trying to protect and save the boy. But someone wants to make him despair—a lurking Guardian of Chaos, perhaps? Hahaha, I wonder what kind of deal would lead you to betray the child's wishes?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Oh, you don't? Then why have you been sowing chaos since the moment you met the boy? You want him to despair, to be broken and hurt repeatedly. There's no need to hide it."

Marstramundus remained silent.

"Very well...you see, I hold no reason to condemn you, nor do I seek to thwart your plans. I have my own goals, and your chaos will become the foundation of my awakening. Did you know that many aeons ago, my clan, the Red Snow, would drink the blood of giants before a war? They believed that when we died with that blood within us, we would bloom once more kukukuku. Mr. Chaos, I formally invite you to the Bloom of the Bloody Rose Petal, the first of many steps in a long line of magnificent miracles that this exceptional child will show us. Come...I think it's time."

Mastramundus finally lowered his empty gaze towards her,

"Be quick...he's already dying."

Without wasting a second more the short girl held out her dainty grey hand. Droplets of carmine appeared, wrapping itself around her arm. The ink like substance very quickly formed a red chain with a large rose blooming into her palms.

"Now then...it's time to wake up...Guardian of Chaos. Hehehe...don't disappoint me."

"What do we do with the body?" Edna asked.

"Just leave it; we have no time," Chusi began to say but was abruptly silenced by an ominous presence that materialized behind them. Edna sensed it slightly later, but when she did, her body instinctively trembled. In their momentary lapse of attention, a chillingly cool voice snapped their thoughts back into focus.

"H-hey...where are you going..."

A melodic laughter suddenly shattered the silence, piercing the air like an arrow cutting through a tranquil sky. Both Edna and Chusi were startled beyond belief, and when they turned around, they encountered something they could never have anticipated in a thousand years.

The boy was sitting upright, a gaping, bloody hole in the center of his chest.

"BUAHAHAHAHAHA-IM BACK? Y-YES, I'M BACK FINALLY- *SNIFFF* AHH, THIS FEELS SO...GOOOOD!"

*shriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii*

As if the sun had abruptly set upon them, Edna and Chusi felt their blood turn icy cold. Thorjen, once presumed dead, was now seated upright, his arms spread ceremonially, and a wide, maniacal smile gracing his face as his crazed eyes beheld the vast skies above. The density of the aura emanating from him shocked the two dragons.

Edna, who loved battle, could only stand and watch as her eyes witnessed a pool of blood strangely crawling up the seated youth's body.

"Ch-chusi?"

"I-i know...Edna...release your full power...now."

But just before Chusi could act, she observed something unusual unfolding. The pool of blood was gathering around the seated Elf, small crystallized flowers of blood were blooming rapidly, and even more troubling was the baleful aura seeping out. As a dragon, there were few things that could surprise her, and although the sudden spike of aura wasn't something they couldn't handle if they got serious, Chusi couldn't comprehend what was happening to the Elf.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA, Why are you just standing there? Come at me! Come and don't hold back! HAHAHAH, It's been so long since I've danced....yes-show it to me! Show me what I've been missing!" The gathered blood suddenly rumbled, and streams of metallic crimson shot up into the skies. Both Edna and Chusi took a surprising step back. A dazzling fountain of blood ascended, forming what looked like a giant tree before gradually descending.

This time, the Elf was standing, his figure shimmering behind the falling wall of blood. His magenta eyes glowed through the cascading crimson. With a crazed expression, he held out his two hands.

"KID! I HOPE YOU'RE PAYING ATTENTION AHAHAHA, THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT! THIS IS HOW YOU WIN!"

Beneath his outstretched palms, two condensed balls of blood materialized, freckled and pulsating with energy. Chusi sensed the impending danger and swiftly kicked Edna away just before the attack was unleashed.

{Chaos Bal}

Two streams of red light tore across the air, obliterating everything in their path as they raced through the jungle, leaving devastation in their wake.
