Chapter 24

What did mira hear?
Goblins
Mira couldn't see them yet, but her every instinct told her something was wrong. There was only a distant ruffling of the foliage, but the air was still. She didn't know what she was about to face, so she approached cautiously.
Aramis was making too much noise as he followed her, so she motioned for him to wait. He nodded as he understood her, and Mira resuming prowling deeper in the woods.
She spotted a goblin. The ugly little creature was holding a spear and a make shift shield, and had what looked like a cooking pot for a helmet. Mira armed the bow, but didn't pull the string. If she killed it, his dying knell could alert the others. The cunning devils always put their feeblest on the lookout, and his pathetic shield and helmet made it difficult for her to take him out noiselessly. She began to circle him, looking for signs of the rest of the war band.
A man's cry heralded a cacophony of yelps and chatters, whoever it was they were hunting, they captured him. Mira ducked for cover, and just in time to hide from the goblin's sentry watch. From her new position she had an easier shot at it, but decided against taking it, at least before figuring out their numbers.
Her blood froze when she heard a woman's cursing voice, and further sounds of struggle. Her impulse was to dash in to rescue her, but to do so would be suicide. She proceeded under cover, and began to spot the members of the goblin band. Three of them had their backs to her, mere fighters. Another was an archer, he had a crooked look on his face that made Mira think he was a specially sadistic member of the race. His handiwork was on the ground, a man had an arrow shot on his guts, a potentially lethal shot, but one that would take many hours to kill, he was whimpering in great agony. There was another that she immediately marked as a shaman, for he wore blue feathers and carried a staff, or a blowgun, in his hand. There were five goblin corpses littered on the ground. The last one was the chief.
Mira was trying not to look until she accessed the rest of the band, but she could no longer ignore the callous cries and the humping sound that the largest of the goblins were making. He was much taller than the rest, only a foot smaller than the paladin, and far more muscular. His skin had a bluish tone, and his long hair was uncharacteristically smooth.'Marus foul progeny' she though. It wasnt the first time she had encountered such a monster. He was mercilessly **** the elf woman he had just captured, a willowy thing that continued to struggle and trash as his cock invaded her back hole and his hands grappled and mauled her perky breasts.
Who does she shoot first?
