A Sense Of Anticipation

There wasn't much work being done at the company on the morning of the 25th. There was a sense of anticipation and nobody wanted to get involved in anything that could not be dropped and would thus cause them to miss the commemoration event that Diane had arranged for lunchtime in reception. Jeff didn't notice, he was too busy entertaining Eamon Gillespie and the current directors in the board room, where they were also welcoming representatives from major customers and partners who were all going to partake of a celebration meal once proceedings had finished downstairs. Diane was supervising those finishing setting up the stage and the streaming capabilities. She placed a billboard outside on the pavement heralding the anniversary and encouraging passersby to stop and peer inside.

And where was Debbi ? Hiding in her office until the last possible moment. High noon approached and Diane burst into the office. She was carrying a white robe with the company logo emblazoned on the back. "Time for the company pin up to get into her celebration birthday suit" she cried cheerfully. " I brought you this" she continued, indicating the robe. "Can't have you walking through the offices in the nude" she laughed. "I'll wait outside but hurry up. We can't keep Eamon and everyone waiting."

Debbi wouldn't have been surprised if Diane had wanted to march her through the offices stark naked. The robe was an unexpected gesture, even if she knew the entire company was soon going to see her spanked bare ! She resignedly lowered the blinds to her office window and started to undress.
