Feeding time
While Rachel tried removing the pacifier with the puffy gloves her hands were manacled in, Juliet crawled around the room. She tried to stand up, but she felt a tingle in the chip Marie implanted into the side of her neck, and her nervous system delayed and froze up every time she put either heel onto the floor, forcing her to crawl.
The room lacked any way in or out. No creases, no hatches, no mouse holes, just a smooth white surface that curved into four walls and a ceiling. Except for a circular window displaying the starry infinite of space on the wall, the window itself too high up for her to even reach on her knees, it was as if they were trapped in a flawless hollow cube made to be sold in an Apple Store.
Speaking of, the door reappeared, and in-walked their android nanny.
"Hello, darlings!" Said Marie. "I've finished analyzing your biological processes and Nanny Marie has made the bestest breakfast for her little snuggle-dumplings!"
