Chapter 74 by Usherbot Usherbot

What did she knock over?

The wine bottle

Emily knocks over the bottle of wine Casandra left on the counter at the beginning of their night. Emily watches the bottle fall and crash down onto the ground.

The bottle lands and the sound of glass shattering echoes through the room. Glass and wine cover the entire area, and the bottle just so happened to land directly next to the pile of clothes.

Almost instantly, the clothes left on the floor get soaked and stained with red wine, making them unwearable in their current state. Jessica’s white tank-top is completely pink, Casandra’s expensive pjs are soaked through, and everything else is wet and smells like wine.

Emily looks down in horror as she realizes everyone’s clothes are now ruined thanks to her. Even her onesie is soaked from collar to toe. She clenched the tequila bottle closes to her chest in embarrassment and shame.

“What was that—” Sarah turns around in her seat. She sees a petrified Emily looking down at the wine covered clothes. “Oh my god, are you okay Emily?” Sarah said in shock. She looks down at Emily’s feet and sees shards of glass all around her.

The others notice Sarah freaking out, so they peer over to where Emily stands out of curiosity. Casandra is the first to notice what happened.

“What the hell! What did you do to our clothes?!?” Casandra shouted in anger and confusion.

“Our clothes?” Jessica stands up from her seat. She looks over the couch and sees the mess for herself. “Our clothes are ruined!” Jessica shouted, blush all over her face. She covers her mouth in shock.

“Unlucky…” Yuri said in a somber tone, seemingly the least freaked out over the accident.

“I-I…I’m sorry….” Emily could barely muster an apology. Tears begin to fill her eyes as the situation finally sinked in for the poor girl.

Sarah immediately gets up from her couch and rushes to grab the broom from the kitchen. She practically slides on the floor and drifts around the counter like a street car. She swiftly grabs the green plastic broom and rushes toward the scene of the accident.

Her eyes dart all around the floor as she sees tiny and big shards of glass all over the ground. Without hesitation, she bends down and starts sweeping up pieces of glass.

Emily stood still as the accident continues to sink in. She could have never expected one wrong move could have done something like this and their’s not going back and fixing the issue. She has for the moment left the girls only form of clothing ruined.

Sarah cleans up the all the glass she could find on the floor. If anything else was left, it would be so small that it wouldn’t even hurt them. She carefully takes the dust pan full of broken glass and slides it inside the garbage can besides her. Now all that’s left is a bunch of wine soaked clothes on the floor.

Do the others take Emily’s accident lightly?
