Ruby spun on her heel, suppressing the sudden urge to cover herself and started beelining her way to the back of the club, heading for Junior's office, moving just slowly enough that it couldn't be called running, and making sure to keep an iron grip on her Semblance. If Dad or Uncle Qrow saw her rose petals, there'd be no way to stop them from looking for AND FINDING her.
She was, of course, still delayed by people feeling her up on the way, but as nice as it felt, she didn't let anybody get more than a couple squeezes and a spank before she moved on.
Yang's gonna be on stage in less than ten minutes with NO MASK and she doesn't know that Dad and Uncle Qrow are here. I gotta warn her, or at least get Melanie and Miltia to give her a mask!
The young red-head finally made it to the back bar by the office area and made for Junior's office.
Only to be stopped by a question from Melanie, who was currently bartending. (Hey, hired muscle or not, bartenders make GREAT tips!)
"And where are you going, little Red? You're supposed to be out there getting people food and getting groped. Last I checked, there aren't any customers in Junior's office."
Ruby looked over. "I gotta talk to Junior about something REALLY important. Right now, before Yang goes up on stage."
As tempted as the white twin was to say no, if only because it seemed like it'd get the dairy cow into some hot water, both her own observations AND Miltia have made it clear that Ruby was clearly trying to pay back the money as quickly as possible, and also, hilariously, that she was probably into all this stuff that they're making her do.
It took a minute, but eventually Melanie caved and said, "Fine. Here, I'll unlock the door, but you have to promise to do something for me, got it?"
Ruby's relief was visible on her face as she replied, "Yeah, of course, whatever you want."
Melanie's face broke into a bit of a menacing smile as she heard that particular turn of phrase.
