History channel

As I came back to the living room I was greeted by a narrator explaining details about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Of course.

"See, this is proper propaganda. They even make it seem like these events really happened."

"But they did." I told Azula, very confused about why she would consider them fictional.

"Of course. And I'm sure the earth kingdom has flying tanks that they don't use simply because they don't feel like it."

Instead of having this discussion right now I opted for a sip of cognac and a cigarette. For once Azula was too preoccupied to glare at me for doing so, making multiple remarks about the effectiveness of history channel "propaganda". However she was soon stopped by the arrival of a commercial break, something that angered her greatly.

"Why do they stop the show for these meaningless products? What would you need a 'blender' for anyways? And the actors in these perform terribly, this is worse than the Ember Island Players rendition of Love among the Dragons." One of these days I would have to explain online streaming to her, but that day wasn't today, I decided.

For a while I was decently entertained just by observing Azula watching the TV and giving various comments on the programs, the commercials and their value as propaganda tool. However, as it was often the case on fridays I felt a certain tiredness come over me, not helped by the fact that yesterday I had been woken up very early and the task of carrying dozens of heavy packages around earlier. Azula also noticed that and gave me a weird look.

"Are you not feeling well?" She asked with a mix of annoyance and concern.

"Just tired." I answered as I slid into a lying position.

"Didn't you basically sit around all day?" Azula asked, although there wasn't any real malice in her voice.

"I would expect you to understand that sometimes mental work can be just as tiring as physical." I weakly retorted as I closed my eyes. Apparently she wasn't in the mood for arguing or it was the continuation of the TV program. The narrators smooth voice and the fact that Azula was apprently decently occupied quickly lulled me into a light slumber. Hopefully it would be peaceful.
