Carla's Date: Part Two

Laura awaited Shar's return determined to have an open mind towards this day's guests. She was probably being unreasonable holding a grudge against the rock stars but dammit the revelation of their lies felt like a betrayal. Still they had probably been punished enough, or at least Carla had, she really shouldn't press things further. If the women proved unrepentant though Laura wasn't sure if she could keep from losing her cool.

She wasn't waiting long before the duo was ushered up the stairs by their tall host. Carla sighed. "Yeah I guess, and I know how that looks after earlier but this is our reality now her and me. I just didn't want to hurt her, to put her through what I am."

It was Laura's turn to sigh. She gestured to the couch taking a seat herself. "I can understand that, you have been through a lot." Carla sat next to her. "I was probably more angry and upset than I should have been. It wasn't personal, but I took it that way. Part of that awkward teenager still coming to grips with her sexuality and looking up to a couple of women that could be so open with their relationship is still inside me. And learning it was all a lie..."

"Yeah I get that. And I'm sorry. I'd like to make it up to you if I can, and not just because we belong to you now." That part came out more bitter than she meant it to.

"That's something we're all going to have to adjust to." Laura agreed. "And I think you trying to protect Kim is a good thing. I won't ruin that."

Carla breathed out in relief, losing a lot of the pent up fear she'd been holding on to. "Thank you. She was my best friend even before this change and I can't hurt her like this."

"It's okay. We can spend the day getting to know each other and maybe letting her explain things to me will help show you what your memories could be with her."

"Yeah, that might help a lot. Thanks Laura. If I have to be stuck in a harem at least the boss isn't a fucking ass." They shared a grin at that and stood to go upstairs together to see what Kim was up to.
