Chapter 29

Does Skyler Break or Resist?
Resist
Skyler wiped the remainder of the powder from her eyes. She didn’t even want to imagine what she looked like right now. Her eyes had stopped burning, but that didn’t change the fact that Roxanne had turned the tables again.
She turned herself onto her side and thrust her hand between her legs. Here she was now in her g-string.
Now, she really did want to cry. Her boss had promised her this wouldn’t happen with preparation. She said that with all the information and a couple of tricks she’d be keeping her clothes on. Goosebumps popped up as she realised how many cameras might be looking at her right now and suddenly she felt extremely exposed.
Did she quit and go back to her boss in shame? Could she just quit her job and go find another one?
Skyler got up onto her knees and subconsciously moved her hands back toward her ass, covered by nothing but a piece of dental floss. Between her legs, she knew that her lips would show easily if someone looked at the right angle. No, she didn’t feel sexy like she had that morning. She felt broken.
Skyler mulled over her options. No, she wouldn’t quit. Her father hadn’t raised a quitter and she’d overcome obstacle after obstacle to get to where she was today.
She allowed the rage to well up inside her again. It reignited her, burned with a hot flame.
Her boss had briefed her on the layout of much of the house. She’d seen which direction Roxanne had moved in. And she heard two bare feet only on one set of stairs.
If her information was right, she knew where Roxanne had gone.
Where is Roxanne?
