Chapter 221 by Exarch-of-Sechrima Exarch-of-Sechrima

And there we go! Back on track! Sorry for the delays!

There's two things I know for sure: She was sent here from heaven, and she's Daddy's little girl

“Well, what do you think?” Dakota purred, looking down at the woman she had created with her own hands, destroyed, rebuilt, and then sculpted into a young girl. “Are you enjoying your new transformations, Sylvia?”

Sylvia could only offer a shaky smile in reply. “Y-yes,” she stammered, trying to stand. But her body was human now. Once upon a time, she’d been a construct of magic; capable of moving her body as simple as a thought. But now she had a heart pounding blood through her veins, muscles that clung to her skeleton, and, most importantly, none of it was the same shape it had been before. Her breasts were smaller. Her ass wasn’t as plump. Her legs were slender and trim, and lost some of their meaty heft.

It felt strange to move her knew body around, and she nearly fell over before Marley caught her and helped her up.

“I, uh… it took me a little getting used to at first, too,” she admitted with a blush, recalling when Sylvia had first turned her from a creature of pure slime to a more physical, tangibly human body. “At least when I became fully human, it came with some memories.”

That was true. Sylvia had been remade into the image of Nick’s perfect daughter, but she hadn’t received any memories to go along with that.

She wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not.

“So what now?” Nick asked, making a point of not even looking Sylvia’s way. His attention was solely focused on Dakota; he didn’t want her to think for a second that he was actually going to be swayed by this attempt to turn Sylvia into some kind of porno daddy/daughter fantasy.

Nick’s experiences with Holly, Gina, and Mary had led him to become a lot more permissive when it came to certain kinks. But ****… that was a line he drew very firmly in the sand.

But judging by the smirk on Dakota’s face, it didn’t matter how firmly he drew it. She seemed intent on tearing those lines down.

“For now… hmm. Well, it’s getting rather late,” Dakota said, glancing up at the sky. The sun was high in the air. “…I’d say that’s just enough time for Kim to get to work, don’t you think?”

Kim sighed, and slumped over. It figured that Dakota would immediately single her out like that, given what had transpired between the two of them.

“Can you at least tell me the sleeping order before you fling me away, like last round?” Kim pleaded.

Dakota scrunched up her face like she was considering it, but Nick knew that face well.

The golden-eyed host smirked. “…Nah.”

And with a wave of her cane Kim was gone.

“She’ll be fine,” Dakota chortled, turning back to the others. “After all, it’s not like she actually did any tasks this last challenge, or anything… she’s nice and rested.”

There was a note of bitterness in her voice. Among other things that Dakota still held a grudge towards Kim over, it was clear she hadn’t forgotten the fact that Kim had been the saboteur, either.

“As for the rest of you, you’ve got a bit of time… I was considering a celebratory feast to toast my new role as host on this show, but… I question if you girls are really in a celebratory mood,” she noted with a sigh.

Nick blinked, surprised. Dakota… she actually seemed almost sad. Was he going crazy, or just seeing things? Did Dakota actually feel bad about the fact that no one was happy she’d become the new host of the show?

He frowned, and considered things carefully. Even if that was the case… she’d brought those negative feelings onto herself. Not even factoring in how difficult she’d been to get along with back when she was a contestant, everyone had seen all the wicked things she’d done to innocent people the last time she’d been a host. And she hadn’t exactly made (or even tried to make) a convincing argument that she’d changed when her first act upon regaining her powers was snuffing Sylvia out of existence, even if she had brought her back.

Nick took a deep breath and sighed. There was too much to think about right now. Today had perhaps been the most intense day of his life since the very first day of this twisted show. He’d woken up worried about who was going to get eliminated, only for it to be Dakota- and then when her dark past had been revealed, and she’d turned the tables…

Too much, it was all just too much. He needed some time to himself to think, to breathe, to decompress. And hopefully he’d be able to get a bit of that.

Dakota remained silent, and the beach held an unearthly sort of calm in the air. It was like everyone was waiting for someone else to say something. Nick could feel a strange nervous tension coming off Dakota in particular, though she seemed completely at ease on the surface.

Finally she cleared her throat.

“Now then. As the Auditionee for this round is someone you girls are already well familiar with, and obviously knows the rules of this show, I think we can skip the customary formalities and the ‘let’s get to know you’ part of our afternoon. Shall we move on?” Dakota twirled her cane and then clutched it tight, and the screen began to shift, revealing the names of all the contestants and the order that they would be sleeping in the Master’s Suite.

1. Kim

2. Rose

3. Mary

4. Dawn

5. Carly

6. Morgana

7. Dani

8. Gina

9. Sylvia

“Kim is first?” Mary gasped in surprise.

“Someone better tell her,” Carly noted.

“I’m second?!” Rose’s eyes widened in surprise. “I-I see… second…”

She’d resolved to have her night with Nick be spent as a romantic rendezvous, just as Dawn had done. It had worked out for her, so Rose thought it might do the same. But she hadn’t planned anything out yet… there were her own fantasies, of course, but would Nick respond well to those?

I’ll have to think of something special, she firmly decided. Something that will really make his heart skip a beat!

So Rose devoted her scheming nature towards organizing the best night of Nick’s life.

“Why am I last?” Gina groaned. Ever since she got the party transformation, she’d been itching to have a good time. “Come on, I want to party all night long!”

Nick sighed and rolled his eyes. Of course that was what Gina was interested in, because she was Gina. She probably didn’t even care that much about all the dramatic stuff that had changed as a result of Dakota becoming the host.

Dakota just smiled. “We have to save the best for last, of course,” she pointed out. “In the meantime, you can plan the perfect party, don’t you see?”

A crooked smile crossed Gina’s lips. Along with Rose, she seemed to be the only one looking forward to the coming round. Girls like Carly and Dawn were apprehensive, Mary looked concerned, and Dani was straight-up shaking.

This next round… how’s it going to go? Nick wondered, biting his lip. He was worried about how the other girls would react to Sylvia… and that was something that Dakota seemed very aware of, given by what she said next.

“Of course, don’t forget, the Auditionee gets tonight with him,” Dakota reminded everyone, glancing pointedly at Sylvia.

Nick sighed. Of course that was where she was going to go with this.

Sylvia winced and glanced over at Nick. He still wouldn’t look at her.

Not that I blame him. It’s one thing to demand Dakota save me, but it’s a completely different matter to actually forgive me for all the stuff I did to him.

In Sylvia’s mind, the transformations were a blessing. Even the ones she got were for the purpose of making Nick happy, even if she didn’t know how Dakota intended for her to do that as Nick’s daughter figure.

She was aware that Nick and the others didn’t see things that way. I’m human now, she thought, looking at the other girls. She looked at Marley in particular. Her daughter knew what it was like to become a human after being something else. Maybe she’ll know what I’m supposed to do with myself.

Sylvia hoped that if anyone would be on her side, it would be Marley. But it wasn’t that simple. Carly’s track record in challenges was not the best. She needed to win over the other girls in the harem as well, to be safe.

Dakota wants me to play the game. That’s the reason she brought me back, besides Daddy asking her to. So that I could be a good Auditionee for the harem.

And part of playing the game was getting along and making friends. And pleasing Nick, of course. So she **** a smile to her lips and nodded.

“I’ll do my best to please him tonight, mistress,” she said politely. And she didn’t let her heart ache too much at his lack of response.

“That reminds me of something else,” Dakota mused, scanning Sylvia’s outfit. “You’re going to be inheriting my VP and BP, isn’t that right, Sylvia?”

Sylvia nodded. To drive it home, Dakota summoned up her totals on the black screen.

Sylvia: 27 VP

Sylvia: 4200 BP

“While your total is quite low… your BP, on the other hand… yes, I think you’ll need to make some use of that,” Dakota said, nodding to herself. She didn’t seem like she was talking to Sylvia, as much as talking AT her. “Sadly you don’t have the transformation to discount other transformations… but there’s still other uses we can find for that money. After all, looking at your clothes…”

She made a grunt of disgust.

“…I know I said there was no need to change your outfit because what you’re wearing is skimpy enough, but frankly, I’d recommend you go shopping for something a little less… cut up into pieces.” She shrugged. “But on the other hand, maybe being almost-naked like that suits Nick’s tastes? What do you think?”

She turned to Nick, who grimaced. He glanced at Sylvia, who seemed to flinch when she felt his eyes on her.

Then, she put her hands behind her back and stretched, almost like she was offering herself up for his approval.

“…You’re right,” Nick sighed, shaking his head. “She does need to change… I mean, if she wants to, anyway…”

He honestly didn’t know how to interact with Sylvia, given the circumstances.

“Well, that sounds like we have a volunteer!” Dakota clapped her hands together. “Hear that, Sylvia? Your Daddy is planning to take you on a nice shopping trip! Does that make you happy? Are you excited to go shopping with Daddy?”

Nick cringed at the sickeningly sweet voice Dakota was putting on. It gave him the feeling like Sylvia really WAS their child; only he knew Dakota didn’t see her that way one bit.

“Y-yes,” Sylvia said, nodding shakily. She **** a smile to her face. “I’m looking forward to shopping with Daddy!”

This was going to be a very uncomfortable shopping trip.

“We can go later,” Nick muttered. “I just… I need some time to decompress right now, okay?”

“Works for me,” Dakota shrugged. “Why don’t you girls head back, and get reacquainted with each other? It’s been a very stressful day, after all.”

And with a wave of her cane, she was gone.

“…Mom…” Marley turned to Sylvia, not sure what to say now that Dakota had disappeared.

Frankly, nobody really knew what to say, given the circumstances. Sylvia… well, she was in a pretty twisted position, and one that a few of them might argue that she deserved.

Of all people, it was Mary who stepped forward first.

“Sylvia,” she said quietly, approaching the blonde girl. “…Are you alright?”

For a second, Nick thought Sylvia was going to cry. And frankly, he wouldn’t blame her if she did, given what she’d went through today.

But she took a deep breath and exhaled, then smiled.

“As long as Daddy’s happy, then I’m happy,” she replied. “…I mean, Daddy… Daddy… s-sorry…” Her face turned red and she averted her eyes. Shame was a new feeling for her; she’d spent so long cultivating the perfect persona for the girls in the harem, she no longer knew what to do with herself when her power had been stripped from her.

“Let’s all head back, okay?” Carly walked over to Sylvia and patted her on the back. She was trying to be friendly, but internally she was conflicted.

Marley cared about Sylvia, and that meant that Sylvia was someone important to Carly as well; after all, she was, in a way, her twin’s mother.

But at the same time, Sylvia had been responsible for a lot of the misery that they’d all gone through on the island. And while Carly hadn’t been directly affected by some of it…

“Hmph!” Dani kicked some sand, fuming miserably at Sylvia. The blonde jumped, withering slightly under the tomboy’s glare.

“If you expect me to feel bad for you, I don’t,” Dani said, placing her hands on her hips. “Don’t think I’ve forgotten what I had to go through, thanks to your stupid transformations! This is all your fault!”

“Hey, that’s not really fair,” Dawn said, stepping between the two of them to play mediator. “You saw the same flashback we did, Dani. Sylvia didn’t have any control. She was doing what Dakota told her to do from the start. We were all already selected to be part of Nick’s harem before she was even created, isn’t that right, Sylvia?”

“That’s right,” Sylvia nodded. “The producers decided who would be the original 8 girls from the beginning. As for the rest… I was told to find some way to bring them in, but…”

“Wait, that doesn’t make sense,” Nick said suddenly. “In the original interpretation, wasn’t Dakota supposed to be the host? Then how would she be one of the original 8?”

Sylvia shook her head. “Mistress was the only anomaly. The original eighth member of your harem was supposed to be your-”

“Wait, wait, don’t tell me,” Nick said, holding up his hand. He had a bad feeling he didn’t want to know. “I don’t-”

“Your step-mother,” Sylvia finished, ignoring him.

Nick cringed. That was why he didn’t want her to tell him.

“Wait, so… you mean Amelia? The woman we met at the wedding?” Holly asked, surprised. She’d climbed down off the stage and joined the others.

“That’s Nick’s step-mother, yes,” Morgana nodded. She remembered researching the beautiful Englishwoman a few years back, for Nick’s wiki entry.

“You don’t think she’s still one of the possible slots, do you?” Carly asked, raising her eyebrow. “Because that could be…”

“Nick’s step-mom…” Mary bit her lip, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. “…Wait, Nick, your step-mother was at the wedding?!”

She turned pale when she saw him nod.

“Uh, yeah, she was,” he confirmed. “…Why?”

“S-s-s-s-so… you and I… we… we had…” She swallowed loudly and started to shake. She’d gotten so lost in the heat of the moment, she hadn’t even thought something like that could be possible Nick’s step-mother?! Seriously?!

“Oh, yeah, you two screwed in front of everybody,” Gina cheerfully confirmed. Because of course she didn’t care one bit about decorum.

Mary had enjoyed it in the moment. Now she wanted to die of shame.

Sylvia cleared her throat, trying to get them back on topic. “About the Auditionee… there were supposed to be 14 people. But when Dakota became the host, the number increased to 16 people… I always wondered why I hadn’t been made aware of the new eighth Auditionee… but I suppose that meant…”

She shivered. It was always meant to be me, wasn’t it? The producers were never really willing to trust me with this season at all.

That was just another part of her life that Sylvia would have to look at through an entirely different lens, apparently. It was like her world kept crashing down around her.

“Well, this is riveting,” Dani scowled. “But honestly? I don’t care what the producers or Dakota or whoever told you to do, Sylvia. Because you’re still your own person. You could have said no, but you didn’t. So sorry, but I’m not feeling all that forgiving!”

Sylvia winced. “I-I can’t deny that…” She admitted, hanging her head. “I was just following orders, but the fact remains… I did those things. But it was all to make Daddy happy!”

“And what about our happiness?” Dani pressed. “That didn’t matter to you at all, did it?”

“You… you were supposed to be happy too…” Sylvia said weakly. She was trying to defend her position, even though it was indefensible. She just couldn’t get a good grasp on how to make Dani see where she was coming from.

Maybe she would never be able to.

“Okay, I think we’re all getting a little too hot right now,” Carly said, placing her hand on Dani’s shoulder. “Let’s all take five, okay? Head back to the hotel? We can talk about this later.”

Dani glanced at Carly, and scowled. She wanted to, she really did, but she just felt so upset! “No!” She said, shaking her head. “This is just… I don’t want to get over this! I mean, I want to, but…”

She just couldn’t bring herself to calm down.

“Daddy…” Sylvia glanced over at Nick, and nodded pointedly over at Dani.

Nick realized what she was indicating.

“Hey, Dani, are you okay?” He asked, approaching her. He expected Dani to bite his head off, but actually her expression softened immediately.

“No…” Dani said, shaking her head. She looked down. “I just feel so stressed all the time… I’m sorry… but I’m not going to just forgive Sylvia over all this, okay?”

“No one’s saying you have to,” Nick said. “But she’s suffering too, now. She’s in this with the rest of you guys.”

“I agree with Nick,” Mary said. “If Sylvia is remorseful for what she did, then it’s okay to forgive her.”

Dani grumbled something, but her expression softened. “Yeah… I guess so.”

Everyone turned to Sylvia. Sylvia looked back at them, and blinked.

“Remorseful… about…?”

Nick sighed. This was going to be a long round.

Darn it, Sylvia. Be better.
