The New Year Edition

Diane was delighted with the proof copy of the company magazine that she was assessing before publication. The glossy cover showed a smiling, happy and ostensibly willing Debbi in all her glory seated on Jeff's lap. But Diane was most pleased with the insert inside the magazine that she had photographed and written. What Diane was particularly pleased about, however, was the accompanying article in which she had planted some time bombs that would further rebound on Debbi. And she had written it in such a way as to suggest that these were all Debbi's ideas. It read:

'Not content with the success of her idea to boost morale and publicize the company with this playful New Year photo and fresh from her triumph as Santa's helper in the Christmas grotto, Debbi has stated that she is determined to keep morale high throughout the year and maintain a high profile for the company online and in the local media. To this end, she will be participating in various other events on notable dates throughout 2024. The next such event will be on January 25th, which will mark the 25th anniversary of the founding of the company by Jeff's predecessor, Eamon Gillespie. Debbi has agreed that the company birthday will be marked by her appearing in reception in her birthday suit and receiving 25 spanks, one for each year of the company's existence !
