Her Socks are Missing

‘That was a little embarrassing’ Nora thought to herself as she slightly giggled.

She sat back down on her chair, but instead of letting her feet up the counter, she crossed her legs, her thighs overlapping each other. She wasn’t planning on putting on her sneakers but she thought it’d be appropriate for her to at least put her socks on. She reached for the socks that laid on the counter where she took them off. However, she found nothing. Her hand circled around the counter to search for the sock but it was nowhere to be found.

She got back on her feet to look and was shocked to see that her pair of socks were gone! Confused, Nora looked over the counter and around the area, trying to see if her socks have possibly dropped somewhere around her but it was nowhere to be found.

Her heart sank when she realized something. That guy who she just helped... He couldn't have possibly...
