Jonny and Selina enter.

“It’s open!” he shouted, and Selina soon came back. She looked at the opening in amazement, and then down at her pint-sized hero. “How the hell did you—“ she began, “you’re not that big. You’re cute, but you’re not Mr. Universe, so how did you open the door?” she demanded. Jonny laughed. “It was like lifting a car during an adrenaline rush . . . my date said she wanted to tour the lighthouse, and the door was in the way, so, well, the door just had to go,” he explained. Selina shook her head in amazement as she stepped into the lighthouse and began her climb up the rustic, metal stairs. Jonny followed close behind, ensuring he had a fine view of Selina’s ass with her every step. The climb was arduous, but the two reached the top in a few minutes. Selina stopped in her tracks when she reached the top. The wind rustled through her hair as started out on to the bay. The lights of fishing boats dotted the darkened horizon, those lights being the only indication of whether the ocean stopped and the sky started. “It’s just as beautiful as I imagined,” she said with a smile.

Jonny moved in close, putting his arms around Selina’s mid-section, making a complete circle and clasping his hands together as they rested upon her belly. He leaned in and kissed the side of her neck lightly. She flinched a bit, as though it tickled, but certainly did not complain. She turned around quickly and drew Jonny into a passionate kiss on the lips, pulling his small body close to hers. As the two broke their embrace. “So . . . gun shots notwithstanding, a good night?” Jonny inquired. Selina chuckled and smiled, “Yes,” she said, “yes, a good night. Thank you.”

The two sat up there for the next hour or so, with Selina beginning to drift off to sleep as she was cradled in Jonny’s arms. She slowly stirred as the morning approached. “Shit!” she yelled as she suddenly jolted awake. “What’s wrong?” Jonny asked, worried. “I can see light . . . the sun’s starting to come up. I’ve got to get you back to Lisa’s before she wakes up and there’s been a shooting and you’re not there!” she said worriedly, “and I’ve got to get to work!” Jonny and Selina hurried down the metallic winding staircase and jogged quickly back to the car—still parked where Selina had left it. The two jumped in the car and headed back in the direction of the city.

After a couple hours, with the sun now peeking over the horizon more intently, Selina pulled her car up to the side of the road out in front of Lisa’s house. She put the car in park and paused thoughtfully. “I—I really had a good time with you,” she told Jonny, “And, um, I would like to maybe do it again soon. If Lisa will let me have you, maybe I can see you again tonight?” she asked, “Believe it or not, my high school reunion is tonight, and I would love it if you could come an meet some of my friends,” Selina said. “I’d love that too,” Jonny said. He leaned in and kissed Selina passionately on the lips. “I think we’ve got something here,” Selina declared with a smile. Jonny got out of the car, giving Selina’s hand a squeeze as he did, and he closed the door. Selina sped off in the direction of the police station to get to the work of managing the crisis that, little did she know, her own boy toy had begun.

Lisa expected Jonny to be with Selina, but Selina expected him to be with Lisa for the day. Intent on learning more about the workings of the city, Jonny headed in the direction of the police station.
