Chapter 37 by neoas

What's next?

In the distance, Jonny and Lisa hear thunder rumble over the crashing sea.

Lisa broke the kiss to look out over the horizon as she heard the rumble of thunder. “What is it?” Jonny said. “Thunder,” Lisa said, “ . . . heard it was supposed to storm some time tonight and then break for a while during the day tomorrow, then kick back up in the evening,” she said. The two began walking along the beach again. “Well let’s hope it doesn’t ruin our plans,” Jonny said with some hope, “what is it you think you wanted to do anyway?” he asked. Lisa thought about it for a minute. “Well they’ve got lots of stuff around here. There’s a boardwalk not far away that actually has all kinds of games and shops and knick-knacks; it’s pretty idyllic,” she said. The two headed back up the beach.

A few minutes of talking brought them to a dock that stuck out over the water. The two walked hand-in-hand, their heels clicking on the rustic old boards that could themselves have come from the wreck of an old ship at some point. Not far from the dock as a lighthouse, shining out across the sea as a beacon to travelers and, increasingly, as an homage to days now gone by. “Beautiful, huh?” Lisa said as the two sat and listened to the sounds of the sea, particularly a bell that hang through the openness of the night from some distance off. “Yeah, yeah it is,” Jonny said after a few seconds. Jonny maneuvered Selina’s curvy body up behind Lisa’s and wrapped his arms around her from behind, resting his head on her shoulder and feeling her generous breasts stick out before her, neither of which Jonny minded even a bit. “Did you ever come here when you were a kid?” Lisa asked. Jonny shook his head. “In those days,” he said, “transportation was not all that certain, and people just didn’t go long distances as part of ordinary trips. Folks were born an died in one town, and it probably would have taken three days just to arrive here. Nobody could let work go for that long at the time,” Jonny explained.

“What did your dad do?” Lisa asked. “He worked in a coal mine,” Jonny answered, “he used to leave while it was still dark in the morning, and he’d come back at 7 in the evening every bit as black as the night that approached from all the coal dust that he was around all the time,” he said. Their beautiful moment was suddenly interrupted as lightening ripped through the sky, again followed by thunder, this time both of them much closer. “Oh!” Lisa exclaimed, jumping a little bit as the noise tor through the peaceful silence on the beach. “We may want to get inside,” Jonny said as he and Lisa jogged back toward the hotel that was on the beach but by then not especially close to where the two had walked. They did not make it all the way back, actually, and the rain began to come down in buckets. “Figures!” Jonny said, laughing as the rain droplets caressed every wonderful curve and crevice of Selina’s body. Lisa looked over at him, her red hair by then wet with rain and therefore stuck to her head and shoulders. She smiled. After a few minutes of walking, the two reached the hotel and entered their room.

“Lisa is beautiful,” Jonny thought to himself. The woman was simply dressed, wearing a low-cut blouse with jean shorts and a couple bracelets dangling from her wrist. There was nothing spectacular—no elegant evening gown, no high-dollar jewelry, and no sexy lingerie, at least none that Jonny could see—but, as she stood there and smiled at Jonny and the rain dripped off her happy face, she was absolutely beautiful to him. “What?” Lisa asked as she saw Jonny looking at her. Jonny smiled. “Nothing,” he said as he moved his own soaked body in the direction of Lisa’s. He put his arms around Lisa and pulled her close for a kiss as he reached down and grabbed Lisa’s beautiful ass. Lisa jumped in surprised please as he grabbed for her, and he lifted her up so that Lisa wrapped her long, luscious legs around Selina’s body’s waist. Jonny made his way over to the bed and set Lisa down upon it.

“Let’s put all of this body’s working out to good use,” Jonny said with a smile as lust and the night took them, all the while the storm raged outside.

Jonny stirred grudgingly in the late morning. He would never be a morning person, no matter whose body he was in. His eyes fluttered open slowly but surely as he glanced about the room, discerning a blurry figure nearby. He wiped the sleep from his eyes and looked again. It was Lisa, and she sat upon Jonny’s torso, straddling Jony’s curvy body there on the bed. Lisa was already dressed, this day in a tasteful black blouse and jeans, complete of course with her new-found birthday present necklace from the night before. “Up!” she demanded as she reached up and fondled Selina’s breasts, causing a sudden moan to escape Jonny’s lips. “No fair,” Jonny said as he laughed, now fully awake.

“Get up, Jonny, you have to take me to the boardwalk,” Lisa explained. “Oh I do?” Jonny said with a smile. “Yes,” Lisa commanded, “and I make a lot of money, so you should be very pleased that all I want is z few stuffed animals won in games along the beach with you,” she said with a laugh. Jonny laughed back. “Okay, okay” he said, “just give me some time to get ready.” “Time’s wasting!!” Lisa exclaimed as she stepped out of the room and left Jonny there to rise and prepare himself.

After Jonny had gotten dressed, he stepped out of the hotel room and joined Lisa as she stood outside and looked out over the water. “Clouds are gone, at least for now,” Lisa commented as they took each other’s hands and began their walk in the direction of the day’s festivities. “Yep,” Jonny responded. The two strolled about for perhaps a half hour down the boardwalk before they came upon the bars and restaurants and arcades that were at least a substantial part of the attraction of the whole setting. The mood was one of freedom, of carelessness, of escaping to the beach for a day of free-floating fun and celebration in a place so great it was amazing more people hadn’t figured it out only to go home wiped out at night and sneak back into bed just to awake the next day in hopes of trying the whole thing all over again tomorrow.

The two happened to be walking by a game stand, one of those places where one stops and throws a dart or two at some balloons, and the skilled marksmen who hit the tougher targets win bigger stuffed animals than anybody should ever own. Lisa glanced around. “I love stuffed animals,” she said. Jonny smiled at her as he kept walking. After a couple seconds of walking, Lisa stopped. “Ahem!” she called out as Jonny stopped and looked back at her, confused. “Let me try that again,” Lisa began, “I believe I said ‘I love stuffed animals!’” Lisa exclaimed. Jonny smiled, now starting to get it and nodding. Lisa gave him a thumbs up as though he’d just accomplished some acrobatic feat that warranted praise. Jonny walked back in the direction of the game, smiling the whole way. “Sorry,” he said, “I’m really a guy inside here,” he explained quietly, “so if you want me to win you a stuffed animal, subtlety probably is not going to get you there,” he explained to her as he sat down at the game and gathered the necessary darts. “I’ll get you trained yet,” Lisa said confidently as she patted Jonny on the shoulder.

Jonny missed the first couple attempts but then made some really tough shots in his final opportunities, enough to warrant a prize of the biggest stuffed animal the world had ever known. Lisa took it gleefully, jumping with delight upon being bestowed with it. Jonny beamed as he saw how happy this tiny gesture had made Lisa. “I’ve got to start practicing with darts,” he said inwardly as he smiled. Suddenly, Lisa handed the big prize to Jonny. He took it, not sure what was going on. “You’re giving this to me?” Jonny said, surprised. “Oh hell no,” Lisa said, “but I’m the lady, and that means you’re supposed to carry it for me,” Lisa declared as she walked on. Jonny should have figured this would happen, though he was not sure about Lisa’s logic since Jonny was, at the moment anyway, a lady his very own self. He tried to work out the sense of this argument in his head for a minute or so as he held the stuffed animal, promptly gave up, and then hurried, burdened now by the giant stuffed bear with a fisherman’s hat an overalls upon which was sewn a representation of an anchor, to catch up with Lisa. And so went the rest of the day.

As evening approached, the two of them walked back toward the hotel. Selina’s body had gotten quite a work-out, as Jonny had been **** to carry every prize Lisa had commanded him to win for her, so many that Jonny’s skill at darts, though impressive, was now officially a liability. Lisa opened the door to the hotel and waited for Jonny to catch up as he carried all her winnings for the day, being tired as hell and not understanding why he had to carry everything, but at the same time not minding a bit. “This is all your fault,” Jonny said with mock annoyance as he passed Lisa at the threshold to the room, huffing his way in just to set the prizes down. Lisa waited in the door for a second before closing it. “Oh, you just wait,” she said, her eyes suddenly glowing a villainous bright red as the door to the hotel room shut.
