Malene 9, Hag 18

Malene hears the creature scream and grab for her. [15 vs 20] But Malene keeps running.

Suddenly, the elf turns on her heels and dives for the hag. [STR vs QUICK: 14 vs 5 (natural 1)] The woman screams and Malene takes the opening to strike her [10 vs 17] But her fists fall feebly against the woman. [Roll to stay conscious: 12]

Able now to attack, the hag swipes with her claws. [14 vs 15] But Malene dodges the woman.

Malene strikes again, her fists raining down on the hag. [12 vs 12] But the creature rolls out of the way. [Roll to stay conscious: 13]

Malene’s vision goes grey at the edges again. She’s been fighting to stay conscious after being brought back to the hag’s hut, but now she feels the lack of stamina overtake her. She falls to her hands. She feels the hag grab at her long, dark hair and begin to drag. She tries to pull free, but nothing can keep her from succumbing to the exertion of trying to run.
